    Clean and quiet hotel. Excellent for turists, as it is close to White House and the Mall. Personnel very nice friendly and helpful. Rooms are finely finished (e.g., tiles and marble in the bathroom). Large breakfast room. Plenty of choices and of food are served for breakfast, including pancakes! The only comment is that the personnel at the desk should be more helpful in providing information/helping with booking taxi/shuttle. When asked, they did not provide me clear information, including the fact that it was necessary to book well in advance.

    HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL
    By car
    From the South:
    Take the I-95 heading north and exit at the 395 North Washington. Merge onto US-1 via the left exit. Stay straight on the 14th St Bridge. Follow 14th Street and make a slight right onto Thomas Circle. Turn right onto M Street and then left onto 13th Street. The hotel will be on the right.

    From the North & East:
    Take the 295 South to exit 50. Merge onto New York Ave NE which becomes Mt Vernon Place, then Mt. Vernon becomes Mass Ave NW. Follow to 13th Street and turn right. The hotel will be on your left.

    Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel.
