Triple room was quite spacious, great location near Rialto bridge. Unfortunately no hot water for shower both days we were there, not sure why.

Excellent value for a property so close to San Marco and very quiet. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and the room was spotless. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable but watching the gondolas go past our window was an unforgettable experience.

Our stay was wonderful. The woman who runs the place was lovely and very attentive to our 2 yr old. We got a little lost finding the hotel based on the directions given but as long as you ask, you'll find the place. Lovely, clean - no breakfast but there are lots of places nearby. Highly recommend.

Location was excellent - walking distance to San Marcos Square and Rialto Bridge. Owner was very nice and helpful. There were four in our group, and the room was more ideal for two or three persons. Room was clean and nicely decorated. We would highly recommend this room.

Single room was a bathroom with a teenage (eg shorter than standard length) bed crammed in. Photos on website misleading. Avoid booking this room! However, other rooms perfectly good for price charged. Also, website gave impression price includes breakfast - it doesn't.

In the heart of the city, a quiet and welcoming place at a good price!

The owner is a really friendly and welcoming person. She was very nice. It is an ancient family house, and it is a simple, nice bed and breakfast (but without breakfast). I stayed for just one night at an excellent price for Venice. Other guests arrived during the night and so I could not sleep because of them (there's no actual isolation between rooms so you can hear everything!)

First time for us. 4 nights. Excellent location. Good place to stay if room is utilized only for sleep. Can be noisy if neighboring rooms are occupied.

It's a great value in Venice. Rooms are clean, bathroom not bad for a budget hotel, and it's located in a quiet courtyard. Location is fine.

We stayed in the "triple room" shown on the Venere website. The location of this hotel was quite good as it was back in a quiet section, off the beaten path, yet basically right in the middle of Venice. However, though it was quiet most of the night, it does get a fair amount of tourists looking at the Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo, which is located right next to the hotel. It is very quiet when no one is there, but when tourists arrive, it can suddenly get quite noisy. Fortunately, it didn't seem to get that many, but they can arrive at any hour (we had some noisy people arrive at around 2:00 in the morning). Ear plugs are a good solution. It is a fair hike from the train station, so some may want to take the water transportation (it took us over an hour walking, mostly due to crowds/narrow streets). Also, it is rather difficult to find, so make sure you get one of the good maps at the train station when you arrive. Walking through Venice is like walking through a labyrinth, and it is hard to get your bearings. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the bed had good pillows and good mattresses. There was no television, if that is important. Bear in mind, that most programs are in Italian, so I found most TVs to be of little use anyway since I don't speak very good Italian. I don't recall there being any soap, so make sure you pack your own. I liked the surroundings because we were close to Piazza San Marco and other services, such as food. Overall, it was a decent bargain for the price, considering it was in Venice (Venice is very expensive).

My opinion is extremely negative, I am sorry not to have taken any picture to give an more precise idea of the situation I have found, believe absolutely unworthy. In detail: Bathroom if it can be called a water at the foot of the bed separated by a plastic wall and without fan ventilation. The shower is a flat, always in the same room near the bed, surrounded by a plastic tent. In concrete doing a shower means completely flood the room. Bed was a camp-bed whose length was more suitable for a child not for an adult person. No place to put clothes In conclusion it has been a theft!

I'm afraid of writing a real review of this place because I may only ruin it for myself the next time I try to book here. Andrienne, the owner is a lovely woman and her accomodations were absolutely quaint and comfy. I'm only writing this because she was so nice to us and deserves all the business she can get. Otherwise, I admit, I'd keep this little gem of a place to myself

A little hard to find, but the owner was wonderful and very helpful. Close to the attractions and within walking distance of all the major attractions.

We stayed for 3 nights in Venice. The hotel was a little difficult to find. It is situated right next to a major tourist sight... building with the spiral staicase( not sure what the name is). Eventhough the tourist sight is under renovation now, there are still many visitors, so it can get very noisy at all times of the day. The room is rather dusty as it has lots of fabric ornamentation that is probably hardly cleaned.

This is a great hotel for this price. It is located between Rialto Bridge and San Marco square which is great for tourists. Room was great, as seen on the picture. The only problem we had is a laundry smell when entering the hotel, but it's just for the couple seconds untill you reach the room. I would highly recommend this place.

This is a great little place providing basic, clean, comfortable accommodation in a quiet central location at reasonable cost. It offers simple accommodation and does NOT offer luxuries or extras so if that's what you're lookng for, stay somewhere else. However, having stayed in several places in Venice in recent years (towards the budget end of the market) I will definitely return here. It is five minutes walk from both the Rialto and St Mark's Square yet, being at the end of a dead-end alley-way, is completely quiet. It doesn't offer breakfast but there are plenty of cafes within easy walking distance where you can have a better breakfast than the standard Venetian B&B offering. It has some three/four bed rooms so is good for groups on a budget.

The price is very good for an expensive city like Venice, I got a clean and silent quadruple room. Very clean towels too. You can go to San Marco in only 4 minutes walking. If you pay with cash you can get a little discount from the price of reservation (6%). The madame was very kind with us. I absolutely recommend this place. Remember to take with you shampoo and soap and hair dryer.

This B&B is a bit tricky to find but so is everything else in Venice! The location is excellent! Not far from Piazza San Marco and the Rialto water bus stop it is very handy for getting around. The rooms were part of an old church or house, were very basic but suited our needs. Great budget accommodation in an otherwise very expensive area. The host was lovely as well.

If all you want from a Hotel is a bed to sleep in then this Hotel is the place for you. For the price in Venice the room is staggering. Very clean on suite with shower, air conditioning and an extremely comfy bed for what must be the cheapest price in the city. For me it was perfect as that's all I want from a hotel. Don't expect any extras for that price (take your own soap) but I can't recommend this hotel highly enough for what it is.

Once you get over with the fact that the place looks very different from the pictures shown in web, it's ok. But not really a nice place to stay and enjoy a holiday, it's a room with a bed, nothing else.
