Great little alternative hotel at a very convenient, central location in Rome. Walking distance from Termini rail station and platform 24 (train to the airport) - if carting luggage, it may be easier to walk than take the metro to Repubblica stop (2 blocks from the hotel). Rooms are spacious and very stylishly decorated, staff are efficient and discreet, breakfast is adequate and served on a nice patio. If you don't care for the big hotel experience, this is quite a bargain for what you'll get.

We have truly enjoyed our stay at Bellasuite in Rome, unforgettable experience. We would recommend anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Rome to go for this Bellasuite.

Excellent welcoming. My flight was delayed so I arrived the day after, and I didn't pay the first night. Very well located, near Piazza Republica close to metro bus stops. I was in a business travel and I got a triple room, what's not usual in Rome! The only problem, I asked for Internet availability in the rooms, and actually there is... but a wired connection (not wifi).

Been to Rome three times and this was definitely the best hotel we have stayed in. The best thing about this hotel, which separates it from any other hotel I have stayed in is the staff - Bruno and Alessandro were very friendly and greeted you with a smile on arrival and every morning. They were very concerned that everything was okay with your room and did everything to make your stay easier including booking tickets for sights that required reseverations. It makes your stay so much more pleasant when you have nice friendly staff to come back to after a tiring busy day in Rome. The location is brilliant, within walking distance of most sights - make sure you bring comfortable walking shoes though!

Enjoyed our 3 night stay here in Nov 07. Bruno on the desk was friendly. Unusual set up with the hotel being above some appartments, but there's a nice, old fashioned lift with wooden doors and an iron gate. Breakfast not that special with squash style juice and coffee that tasted a bit of chicory. Disappointing that there was no hot water in the hotel on the morning of our last day but may have been an unlucky one off! Free use of the internet in the hallway and overall it was very good value for central Rome.

This hotel is great! It is new, fashion, comfortable, employees are friendly and helpful... the location is great because it is 10 minutes from the Termini station and in a few minutes you are in the heart of Rome!

My wife and I were on our first visit to Rome, an experience that was enhanced by staying at the Bellesuite. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, especially when it came to recommending places of interest and, more importantly, excellent places to dine. The rooms were first class, being quiet, spacious and immaculately clean. We would highly recommend the Bellesuite as a wonderful place to stay while in Rome and WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

This is a fantastic little hotel in a perfect location for touring Rome. The staff could not have been more helpful and the hotel is one of the cleanest i have ever stayed in. Definately recommended. Continental Breakfast delivered to room every morning was a lovely touch. It had everything we needed.

A quality hotel for the price - nice decor, rooms are quite big, shower room was small but clean. We found the free internet access really useful. About a 15min walk to main tourist attractions (Collesium, the Forum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps etc). A 10 minute walk to the train station.

Hotel was hard to find as it is part of a block and there is only a tiny plaque to show that the hotel is on the 2nd floor. One receptionist spoke very little english and when we tried to check out he told us there was nothing to pay then chased us down the street which was really embarrassing.

The bathroom was small; there was no place to set a shaving kit or makeup case. The breakfast area was very cramped as well. Otherwise, the hotel was great and we enjoyed our stay.

A bit noisy outside, but hey this is Rome! The breakfast room was cramped and you only get 'coffee and carbs' for breakfast (the only hot thing is coffee/tea and there's no meat/cheese/eggs as you might find in many continental breakfasts). Free internet access was useful.

i have only stayed in a few hotels and have not been impressed until now. At the Bellesuite we had a stylish, spacious and very comfortable room (with a lovely big bed!). the staff were very friendly and helpful. it is convieniently located for the sights, shops and restaurants. i would highly recommend this hotel. just one point; there is no "hotel entrance"! find the big wooden door and ring the bell!!

Our room was spotless and the bathroom sparkled every day, not just on the day of arrival. The bed was really comfortable and the air conditioning actually worked. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and created a very pleasant atmosphere. It is also in a good cental location and although we have stayed in Rome before in a higher graded hotel, Bellesuite would certainly be our first choice in the future.

We loved this hotel! Bruno and Allesandro were so helpful in every way. The Target restaurant, just down the street was excellent and the nearby George Byron Cafe was convenient for a quick snack. It is nice now that breakfast is served right in the hotel though the room used for this purpose is rather small for the amount of tables. Breakfast was adequate. High praise for the morning cappucino! Its a great location, easy to walk to many sights and near a metro stop where you can ride to the Vatican. We felt safe on metro, no problems, even rode it doing rush hour. Can't wait to go back as we loved Rome and they made our stay so very pleasant.

Very good value for Rome. Once upstairs, the reception and public area's are immaculate. Room was very clean as was bathroom, and very modern. 2 minutes walk from Via Nazionale with lots of shops / cafes / restaurants, and a metro station (Republica). 10 minute walk from Termini station which is ideal for getting the various open top bus tours. All sites within 20 minute walking distance apart from the Vatican. Highly recomended - Good Value

We booked 3 rooms for January 14th thru the 18th. The hotel was only one block away from via Nationazale which offers excellent shopping. We could easily walk to the Trevi fountain, the Coliseum, and most other sites. The Repubblica subway station is 2 blocks away, which we took to the Vatican. We can't say enough about the hotel and the staff. When we arrived we were greeted by Alessandro and Michelangelo (both spoke excellent English). Michelangelo quickly took our bags to our rooms while Alessandro made us feel welcome. The rooms were exceptionally clean and newly updated. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Rome the Bellesuites is an excellent choice. The staff Bruno, Alessandro and Michelangelo are great hosts.

As a family of 5 we enjoyed our stay and the location of the hotel was great. The staff were very welcoming and were happy to give advice and make restaurant bookings. The only negative point is that my parent’s room was on the same floor as the reception and I shared with my sisters on the 3rd floor. The difference in the quality of the rooms was very noticeable and my parent’s room had basic decor in terms of the room and bathroom, also there was no shower curtain. On the other hand my room had a flat screen TV, DVD player and was very comfortable and matched the photos on the hotel site. Since it was my dads 50th birthday one of the nicer rooms would have been great. I cannot say if all rooms on 2nd floor were like this but I would advise requesting a room on the 3rd floor if you are staying here. The other comment I would like to make is the basic choice of breakfast which was now in fact being served in a room on the second floor and not in the Target restaurant as previous visitors have experienced. If you like cereal and pastries this is OK, but not for those that like a hearty hot breakfast. I would definately stay here again.

I don't want this displayed but we were very impressed with the delightful and knowledgeable staff at Bellesuite. And - I have been forced to answere Q2 below in order to proceed - but in fact you need a button that allows you to say - 'none of the information was difficult to find' - which was the case.

We stayed at the BelleSuite Rome for two nights in Decemeber 2005. I would rate our overall experience as excellent. The rooms were modern, clean, and well appointed. The location was great--close but not too close to the Termini train station, and within walking distance of the historic center of Rome. Finally, the customer service was almost unprecidented. Alessandro went well above the call of duty to help us find a last-minute reservation for New Year's Eve. The BelleSuite was booked but he found us a place less than 3 days before this busy holiday night. I would recommend this fine, small hotel with no hesitation.

This is a businessman's hotel. It looks nice in the photos, but the windows behind those pretty yellow curtains are not real windows, at least in my room. Its difficult to get up to go out and see the sights of Rome when you're encased in a pitch black cell. And the "room service" is not actually room service. Its when they re-stock your minibar which consists of a coke, a beer, and a bottle of water. Stay somewhere nearer to the center of town. Its worth it, especially when you want to get a nice bite to eat after a long day out on the town. In Rome, try to get a bigger hotel, they might have more services, and a door that actually opens onto the street, instead of the 3rd floor of some obscure building. If you are going to Florence, which I highly recommend. Stay at the Degli Orafi. I got an incredible deal on Venere for this stunning hotel. It was more than I ever expected. Beautiful.

Very enjoyable stay at the Bellesuite. Very anonymous from the street, gorgeous and modern inside (3rd floor). Friendly, helpful staff. Reasonably priced by Rome standards. Would stay there again.

My daughter and I were traveling for several days in Italy prior to our arrival at this hotel. I was extremely pleased to find that this place was everything advertised and more. The staff was professional, very helpful with any and all types of questions, the room was large and exceptionally clean, we felt absolutely comfortable and safe here. I would highly recommend this one. Having the internet service was also a definite plus, and I have since decided that I will not stay anywhere that does not offer this service. Only one slight negative, the hotel was not very well marked on the outside, it is in a building with several other small hotels, so we passed it twice while searching for it. It is however, very convenient from the train station, we walked from there in about 5-10 minutes.

This was a wonderful hotel for anyone who needs a comfortable bed and clean surroundings within walking distance of the main attractions in Rome. Our room was tastefully decorated and had a modern TV screen, well cared for furniture and a stylish (if small)sparkling bathroom where the towels were changed and the toiletries renewed every day. All the staff were extremely pleasant and as helpful as anyone could wish for. They all SMILED and seemed genuinely interested in helping us enjoy our stay. We had 4 nights here and were more than pleased with our choice. My husband celebrated his birthday whilst we were there and when we got in following dinner on the night of his birthday there was a bottle of champagne chilling in our room! I cannot recommend this place highly enough and would not even consider paying an extortionate rate at a "chain" hotel. Contintental Breakfast was served in the Cafe Byron, less than 1 minutes walk around the corner, and here again the staff were pleasant and the surroundings clean and tidy even though the place was busy. We will definitely use this hotel again and recommend to our friends.

It was a very pleasant hotel to stay in, well located, clean and matched the description of the hotel given the web site. The only thing not mentioned is that breakfast is not on site but in cafe around the corner. While this was not a problem and the cafe was more than adequate, this was not made explicit.

I would highly recommend this hotel and are very pleased we stayed there. Lovely staff and very helpful. Rooms very peacefull after a busy day sighseeing. Hotel centrally located and within walking distance of all the sights. Breakfast served at cafe on the corner - dont let this put you off it is lovely to have your breakfast watching the world go by mingling with the locals - Juice, Coffee, Croissant, Toast and Jam. Must mention Resaurante Pizzaria Barroco at the end of Via modena (hotel street) Superb food and reasonably priced thankfully we discovered this on our first night and ate there every night! Book this hotel you wont be disappointed!!!!

I stayed with my wife for two nights in September 2005. It was ideal for our needs. We were onour first visit to Rome and the location was perfect. Close to the main tourist attractions which were so easy to find. The staff were superb. It would have been nice if there was a bar on the premises so we could enjoy a nightcap. That said, there were several ideal places close by - and the price or drink in the room mini-bar was very fair. Belle Suite Rome is certainly top of our list for affordable, clean accommodation on future visits.

I wanted a nice hotel in Rome, centrally located to a reasonable price. I chose this hotel since it had many positive comments from earlier guests. It was a very good choice, and I would love to come back! Excellent service from a very kind staff, clean and nice rooms, small but lovely bath (only shower), good beds - and no noice during the nights. All together a very good choice to 100 Euros/night.

Fantastic! Clean rooms, tastefully furnished, all facilities in the rooms (they're not huge but they make the most of the available space), exceptionally helpful staff, good suggestions for meals, well located - and all of this at a reasonable price. We would certainly go back.

Great value for a downtown hotel in Rome. A small and quiet modern hotel, wonderful staff and perfrct amenities. Definately recommended for a trip to Rome where you only plan to sleep at the hotel. The only downsides of this property are that it is on the 3rd floor of a small building ( there is an elevator )and that breakfast is served in a small bar down the street. Although the hotel will arrange for breakfast to be delivered, just ask, as they are as friendly as the staff at the bar, where we stopped in at for our nightly Limoncello nightcap. Walking distance to everything at a reasonable rate.
