LOVED this hotel! Very large twin room, airy and clean overlooking the quiet side street. Location cannot be faulted, right in the middle of the Colosseo, Trevi fountain/Spanish steps and train station. Friendly service. Only fault was the shower which alternated between freezing and boiling. Overall: great find in a great location for an amazing price

This is a two star accomodation. Bathrooms do not have proper doors on them. Showers were mouldy and did not have proper doors. Doors to the hallways have cracks in them that you can see through. Cleaners continually moved possessions around whilst cleaning. Very dodgy entrance to Guest House - does not make you feel safe. Staff are nice and friendly, but would not recommend and warn this is a two star accomodation - pictures can be deceiving.

I was very pleased with my stay at Soggiorno Europa 17-19April 2007. Evi at the front desk was just delightful; efficient and friendly. Also Mariella and Francesco. The 145 steps up to the accommodation was a good workout since I chose not to use the small elevator. The location just off of Via Nazionale was so close to everything that I didn't even need to take the Metro. I would definitely stay here again. Only discrepancy I found was the hotel's website and venere indicates all rooms have private bathroom which is not correct. I stayed in a room (number 56)without sink or toilet which was fine as the communal bathroom was clean and accessible.

The things that ware not so good where the small waterboiler after one person had taken a shouwer the boiler was almost empty. And on the tv the where only Italian channels so no CNN of example

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
The property is easily reachable from any point of the Grande Raccordo Anulare, reachable by all highways, following the indications to Roma centro, then to Roma Termini and via Nazionale. It is forbidden to enter by car the area where the town house is located, so guests can park their car close to the Termini railway station and reach the property by taxi or by walk. For example, bus 64 going from Termini to St. Peter.

By airplane
The Roma Fiumicino airport is connected to the city by highway or by a local train service, called Leonardo Express, leaving every 30 minutes for Termini station.
The Roma Ciampino airport is just a few bus stops from underground line A terminus Anagnina. The ride to Termini takes about 20 minutes.
