All apartments are very luminous, stylish decorated and have a private bathroom, colour television, air condition, a small kitchen with refrigerator.

The 3-rooms apartments have a dishwasher too. Lift and possibility to park in a nearby private garage. Linens changed and rooms cleaned once a week.

Great base for exploring Florence located in quiet residential area. Very close to local supermarkets and an excellent restaurant on Piazza Savonarola. Short walk of about 20-30 mins into centre of Florence. Very helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to assist us in identfying train timetables etc. Apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped.

The location was okay and the room wasn't so bad, what spoiled it for me was the bathroom. Basically there was no shower stall where you showered and that would flood the entire bathroom floor. I didn't like going to the bathroom and contending with a pool of water everytime. On a good note, the location was quiet and pretty close to Florence. We could walk to major sites withing 20 minutes and were very close to public transportation. When we asked for stuff, the owner was always very accomodating.

The only negative was the cleanliness of the shower and the fact that the curtain did not cover the shower - needs a bit more space. We were welcomed like family.

Quiet clean rooms not too far from centre of town -a 20 minute walk. However in July this can be a tiring and hot walk! Air conditioning was a boon -so can keep windows shut and mosquitos out! ps do not keep taxi drivers waiting - they disappear!

Slightly far from the center of the city, but other features exceed the defect. Considering the accessibility to the accomodation by a foreign driver like me, the locaton can be merit. I want to use there again and again when visit Florence.

Public areas: it takes you 10-15 minutes to the center, by walking. we had the biggest apartment(number one), great, with a very large terrace to the inner courtyard.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By Train

From the central train station Firenze Santa Maria Novella , Residenza Flora can be reached by:
BUS number 17 from Via Alamanni or
BUS number 10 from Piazza Adua. Get off in the area of Via Masaccio.

For those arriving by the "autostrada", the recommended exit is Firenze Nord. After exiting, go in the direction of "centro".
