Our stay was marred by the reception we received when we arrived at the hotel. The receptionist was unpleasant and very aggressive because we had not taken the hotel's transfer bus. We had received no confirmation that a transfer would be waiting for us. No one was waiting to receive us. There was no bus waiting outside, so we took a taxi, which cost us 15 euros. The unpleasantness was unnecessary and my wife was extremely upset. The room was not properly prepared. There was only one set of towels in the bathroom when, from our reservation it was clear that we were a couple. The restaurant was mediocre - the food was poor - the wine was fair - the waiter did his job but being alone the service was slow. The breakfast chef seemed in a bad temper and the waitress did very little to help the clients. The hotel's claim to 4 stars is pretentious "GRAN" is not an adjective we would use. We had hoped that we would experience a final luxury to end our lovely holiday. Sadly that was not the case

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. You cannot cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a non refundable or prepaid rate.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In order to cancel your booking without charges, the reservation should be cancelled with a minimum of 3 days before the date of arrival, otherwise a one-night saty will be charged as penalty in your credit card.
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 3 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. You cannot cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a non refundable or prepaid rate.
