The Residence Borgo Il Poggiaccio fetaures comfortable apartments, a big swimming pool, an ample solarium terrace, a tennis and basket court, table tennis and mountain bikes.

The beautiful restaurant, with wine bar and piano bar, which is situated in a medieval cellar, offers a magical atmosphere and Tuscan cuisine specialties. We organize weekly musical soirées and a guided wine tasting. During the summertime the dinner is served on the large terrace near by the swimming pool with romantic live guitar or piano music.

The well tended garden features pergolas, tables, chairs and benches.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
From Milan, Bologna and Florence, on A1 highway, take the exit Firenze-Certosa. After the toll booth, turn right and proceed on the main road in direction of Siena. After about 41 km, take the second exit to Colle Val d'Elsa Sud. Turn right and continue until the roundabout. From the roundabout follow the indications to Grosseto. Pas­s another two roundabout and after 3.5 km, at the end of this road, turn left on SP 541 and continue in direction of Grosseto. After 500 meters, proceed always in direction of Grosseto, cross the bridge and proceed on SP 541 in direction of Grosseto. Keep the main road and ignore the signs to Sovicille. After about 16 km you will find Borgo Il Poggiaccio Residence on the right, in a high position. We kindly request guests to enter on the reception side at the second gateway.

From Siena, Porta S. Marco, take the main road SS 223 in direction of Grosseto. After about 13.5 km at the crossroads to Orgia and Rosia, turn right and continue for about 6 km until you reach Rosia. At the crossroads, after the STOP sign, turn left in direction of Casole d’Elsa and follow the signs to Borgo Il Poggiaccio. After 4.5 km, at the crossroads with the Colonna di Montarrenti, turn right in direction Colle Val d’Elsa following the indications to Borgo Il Poggiaccio. After 5 km you will reach Borgo Il Poggiaccio Residence on the left, on a bend after a long stretch of road.

From Rome, take the Autostrada del Sole A1 highway in direction of Florence. Take the exit Betolle and conti­nue in direction of Siena. After about 50 km take the ring road of Siena and proceed on SS 223 in direction of Grosseto. After about 13.5 km at the crossroads to Orgia and Rosia, turn right and continue for about 6 km until you reach Rosia. At the crossroads, after the STOP sign, turn left in direction of Casole d’Elsa and follow the signs to Borgo Il Poggiaccio.
