This was an ideal location for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers the rooms although old fashioned were clean and tidy and we got fresh towels and linen every day. it was good base as we went to the city everyday and only returned in the evening. we dined in the local restaurants and the next door crown plaza. staff were very helpful, and it was exceptional value.

the bus into rome is just 2 min away- although sometimes we had to wait for more than 30 min.
the distance to vatikano is only 40 min walking, though. the walk along the heavy traffic road without any pedestrian walk way is dangerous.
the next superstore is 30 min away, but you need to walk the same dangerous road.
the personel at the reception is very helpfull.
the personel at the breakfast room is hopeless and not doing their job: one morning we had about 50 backpackers in for breakfast and the rest of the guests couldnt find a clean table, nor cups and the staff was standing around and chatting.

Hotel was too far from the center of Rome. Expensive to take taxis and buses took too long. Hotel was clean. Personnel was friendly. Prices are too high for being so far from Rome's center. I would not go back.

positiv: der Getränkeautomat mit preisgünstigen gekühlten Getränken 24 h zugänglich, ruhige Lage, geräumige Zimmer, gute Busanbindung
negativ: beim ersten Mal schwierig zu finden, liegt etwas versteckt, dadurch aber ruhig;

The Hotel is in the style of serviced apartments, however there are no utensils supplied, although I understand these are available to hire. The rooms are spacious and adequately equiped. The room initially suffered from smelly plumbing, but after openning the windows for an hour or two, the problem disappeared and did not reoccur. I suspect the it had been locked up for some time. With a well equiped bathroom and private bedroom it was pleasant. For teenagers the beds could have been more substantial, as they were sofa seats which fold down for a bed, as they slept in the lounge room they got the TV. Given how tired we were after each day our two did'n't complain. The rear facing apartments are very quiet and has a bushy outlook onto greenery, and a couple of spacious balconies were pleasant. The staff could not be more helpful and after a day we mastered the bus system , so the location was no problem, because the bus has it's own express lane. Breakfast was a delight after Paris, with stewed fruit, yogurt, toast, various crossants and reasonable coffee. I would go back.

We stayed here for 3 nights and we were pleasantly surprised. It was clean, room was nice, bathroom was clean, all lights worked, etc. Breakfast was disappointing, toast or cereal. Swimming pool fantastically refreshing after a long hard day walking around Rome. But bring a blue towel with you from home or you have to pay 2 euros everytime you visit the pool as they insist you use one of their blue towels, you are only allowed blue towels in the pool area. (god knows what that is all about). If you want a drink in the evening the Crown Plaza is next door which is lovely to have a drink in, in the evenings - but pricey! We paid 16 euros for a rum and coke and a glass of wine. Buses to take you into Rome are 881 and 96, you can buy a bus ticket in newsagents for a week for 12 euros which you can use on buses, trams and tubes - bargain!! If you get any mad ideas you want to watch the football, don't buy tickets off a tout as when you get into the ground they ask for your passport. If you haven't brought it they kick you out and if you have brought it, they scan the ticket which will have someone elses name on and see you are not that person and kick you out anyway!! Good way to waste a lot of money.
Anyway, rome was brilliant and the hotel fab - we would go again definatley!!

some road noise, but spacious rooms and overall a good base with free parking from which to explore rome. cheap bus service runs past hotel, pizza places / local shops etc within 10 minute walk, staff very helpful though "free use of pool" isnt - there is a charge of 2 euro for towel hire. minor gripe though - overall to be recommended

Great rooms, adequate prices, exclusive equipment. Swimming pool excellent, especially on very hot summer days. The location is good for car-drivers (great parking area). The disadvantage of the hotel is the very complicated bus transfer to the city of Rome and the surrounbdings which are not comfortable to pedestrians.

Ideal hotel for a stay for family with children. The historical center easy accasable via public bus - 15 minut from Vatican. The bus station is 200 m from the hotel. The hotel is located in a silence location - 150 m out of the main street. Parking place near hotel free of charge.

The residences was as we expected. The price/quality provide was really good. However the "promises" got in the reservation was not totally as the reality.Ohh, this "famous blue towel" for the swimming-pool!!!!In the reservation was mentioned : "Access to the swimming-pool INCLUDE". You forgot to mention that only the access is included, but not the swim. It was possible only having a blue towel(from the swimming-pool guy, at 2 euro/person/day).Not nice at all. Otherwise everything was fine.If we will in the future visit again Rome, we will go again to this address(with the blue towel in the lugagge, hoping that they didn't change the colour!!) :O)

Place was a little inconvenient to the main tourist/restaurant areas, but accessible to public transportation. Continental breakfast "service" was included, but you still had to pay 5 euros per person for the food. The breakfast was okay, not great.

We stayed in a one bedroom style apartment.
We had breakfast most days of our stay.
We had most of our dinners at a restaurant next door or at the local pizzeria about 5-7 minutes walk from Residence Aurelia.

This property was by far the nicest place we stayed during our 2 weeks in France and Italy. It was a great value for the price. If you are arriving by train or plane I would suggest you take a taxi to the hotel since it was not easy to find. It was convenient to bus service once we got our bearings.

We stayed two nights. Very comfortable, balcony, suite, breakfast was very good. Although it is far away from downtown and the sights, there is an easy bus to Saint Peters, and connections from there. Large, impersonal hotel feel with budget prices.

Good value convenient locaton with free parking adjacent to Crown Plaza St Peters.
Front desk very helpful and competent. Hallways had poor lighting, dingy worn carpets and stained walls. Room was small, furniture old and battered, and AC worked sporadically during August heat. Website shows large apartment-sized rooms; nothing like the small room received. Free breakfast in basement was acceptable but nothing special. Price is reasonable compared to similar elsewhere in Rome.

Coses bones: bon preu, habitacions espaioses i agradables.
Coses dolentes: La piscina val 1 euro i et lloguen una toballola. No la porteu de casa.
Alguns recepcionistes son poc amables.
Si hi aneu amb nens potser tinguen problemes. Volen molt silenci, son poc tolerants amb aixó

Very good value for money - 100 euro/night for a quadrouple (2 big rooms)incl. breakfast and with a nice pool area - in Rome in July!. The service was excelent. We got a lot of help from 2 very nice men in the reception(the lady however could go a charm course). There was a bus every 15 minutes outside the hotel. 2 stations to the Metro and then with the same ticket with the Metro to city. Very easy.
There where also 2 nice local restaurants very close to the hotel. We could highly recommed the hotel, especially in summertime.

A really good place to stay in Rome. Close to bus stop, bus to city or the train. A bit confusing as differnet bus routes on weekends.
Breakfast good, staff helpful. Airconditioning struggled a bit in the heat. Pool guy very unfriendly. Hotel a little duplicitous about paying to use the pool. Overall very good. Had a great time in rome, helped by the hotel. Great value.

only problem we had was that we could not book a room at the hotel for our return to Rome (3 weeks later).. the price was more than 100 EU more than the price through Venere and we did not have access to the venere site in English to attempt to make this booking... so book in advance and then cancel if you do not like the accommodation but to be honest... this accommodation was the best deal we had during our entire vacation in Italy... great value and convenient to bus service into the sights.
Pool guy was a bit unfriendly.

For a four stars residence we expected more: room was not clean, old furnitures, there was not air conditioning with remote control (in fact, air conditioning worked just from 11am to 12 pm, so like our room was in the last floor it was hot to sleep)Breakfast good. Swimming pool subject to a charge (1€/towell)

It was what we expected. 2 Rooms with kitchen
and bathroom. Only italien TV. Breakfast was ok, samll buffet, coffee was surpising good.
The overall prices in Rom are to high. I mean a espesso is about 4 Euro = to high. We enjoyed the city and our stay in Aurelia Antika Appartments.

Personale sempre all'altezza, competente e disponibile.

Probably the only negative thing was the breakfast--for a four-star residence we expected more. The cappuccino was terrible. But overall we were very pleased with the location, the room(s) and the price.
