Let me start by complimenting the staff at this hotel. They are very nice and accommodating. I hate to downgrade this place after being treated so well. But..the thin ragged towels and the sheets with holes in them did not make a favorable impression. There was no maid service. The room is much smaller than the hotel's photos would lead you to believe. The cute kitchenette, which I thought would be convenient for my early-rising husband, turned out to be located six inches from the bed. The hotel is situated quite a way from central Paris. A very long walk or a Metro ride are necessary to access typical tourist sights. Despite the fine people who work there, I wouldn't return.

Lovely rooms, friendly staff and great if you want possibility to eat at "home". Very quiet street and didn´t feel touristy at all. The staff didn´t speak any english but really tried and the service was very good. Clean rooms. We stayed in the room with red curtains and loved it!

We visited Paris in February and found Hotel Quintinie just what we needed. The Hotel is very quiet because it is located away from the tourist areas and noisy streets. The Metro stations are close by and we were able see all the sights without any problems. The hotel room is comfortable and clean. The only thing I would add is bring a travel alarm clock as there is none in the room we were in. Overall, we were very pleased with our 11 day stay.

This was a lovely hotel for our honeymoon, very large (in european standards) ,well decorated, and well stocked with appliances. It is located a little far from the tourist areas though.

This hotel was better than expected. The employees were very helpful and made us feel welcome. A great location in Paris, easy to reach the Metro, shopping and tourist sites.

My girlfriend and I spent 4 nights in this hotel. The room (lavendiere) was nice, is has a frigde, a microwave and you can even cook in the room if you wanted to. The beds were comfy, although they were twin beds. The gap between the 2 beds widened easily ;-) The hotel is situated at a small park and the area is relatively quiet. In short walkingn distance from the metro, it was easy to go wherever you wanted to go. The metro has a direct connection to Montmartre. Bathroom was nice, shower only, but clean and modern

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and the hotel was perfect. Close to the metro station and a very quiet neighbourhood. We stayed in room 203 which overlooks the street and a park. With the kitchenette, it was great to be able to save on eating out (the restuarant prices are really high, especially for South Africans at 10 Rand to 1 Euro)- the hotel is around the corner from Champion Supermarket where we bought all our groceries at very similar prices to what we pay back home in South Africa. I had read a lot of reviews on the internet before so my expectations were high, but everything was perfect. The rooms are very well arranged and CLEAN, with everything you need to be comfortable. My only recommendation to the hotel would be to buy new pillows as the ones they have are quite soft/flat. I would recommend this hotel to couples who are looking for a romantic getaway.

Can't really fault this hotel. Room was spotless, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was easy to get to and from for sight-seeing (using the Metro). Would definitely stay here again.

Spotlessly clean! Would stay here again. Only issue is the typically small space, typical of Paris. Shower was large, rest of bathroom was small. Incredibly clean, good kitchenette, plenty of towels, quiet, nice, and very safe residential area (zero room for extra people / bed in room). Bob from Boston

Canadian couple spend 3 nights in mid Sep/06. The room is quiet and clean in a residential area. The staircase is tiny and you have to put some effort to take your luggage up to your room. There is a supermarket 3 mins away from the hotel. After 9 there is not much in the surrounding area. The lighting on the street is not enough and dark. If you are looking for a quiet sleep, is good.

This is a great place to stay if you want to be in a residential area. The food is less expensive and better in this neighborhood than in the tourist areas. Since this hotel is not in the middle of the tourist area, expect to have a little travel time- but the metro is excellent for this. Also, there is a great playground right outside of the hotel for those with kids or who are just a kid at heart.
