From Milan: take the A1 highway to Bologna. Continue on the A1 to Florence and exit at Firenze-Certosa. Take the express way to Siena and continue on the SS 223 Siena-Grosseto. In Paganico turn left following directions for Monte Amiata – Arcidosso - Castel del Piano on the S.P. 64. After 10 km turn right following directions to Castel Porrona-Cinigiano.
Or take the A1 highway to Parma. Continue on the A15 toward La Spezia and merge onto the A12 to Livorno-Rosignano. Continue on the express way E80 to Grosseto and take the SS 223 Grosseto-Siena. In Paganico turn right following directions to Monte Amiata – Arcidosso - Castel del Piano on the S.P. 64. After 10 km turn right following directions to Castel Porrona-Cinigiano.

From Genoa: take the A12 to Livorno-Rosignano. Continue on the E80 Expressway to Grosseto and take the SS 223 Grosseto-Siena. In Paganico turn right following directions to Monte Amiata – Arcidosso - Castel del Piano on the S.P. 64. After 10 km turn right following directions to Castel Porrona-Cinigiano.

From Rome: take the A12 highway to Civitavecchia, continue on the E80 express way (Aurelia) to Grosseto and take the SS 223 Grosseto-Siena. In Paganico turn right following directions to Monte Amiata – Arcidosso - Castel del Piano on the S.P. 64. After 10 km turn right following directions to Castel Porrona-Cinigiano.

From Florence: take the Firenze-Siena express way to Siena and continue on SS 223 Siena-Grosseto. In Paganico turn left following directions to Monte Amiata – Arcidosso - Castel del Piano on the S.P. 64. After 10 km turn right following directions to Castel Porrona-Cinigiano.

From Pisa: take the A12 toward Livorno-Rosignano-Rome. Continue on the E80 Expressway to Grosseto and take the SS 223 Grosseto-Siena. In Paganico turn right following directions to Monte Amiata – Arcidosso - Castel del Piano on the S.P. 64. After 10 km turn right following directions to Castel Porrona-Cinigiano.

From Bologna: take the A1-highway to Florence and exit at Firenze-Certosa. Take the Firenze-Siena expressway and continue on the SS 223 toward Siena-Grosseto. In Paganico turn left following directions for Monte Amiata – Arcidosso - Castel del Piano on the S.P. 64. After 10 km turn right following directions for Castel Porrona-Cinigiano.

By train
Trains will take you to Grosseto station where you need a taxi to reach Castel Porrona.


By airplane
Rome-Fiumicino and Pisa are the nearest airports. Both operate national and international flights. From Rome-Fiumicino airport, the “Leonardo” shuttle train takes you to Rome-Termini central station (by car see directions from Rome)
Pisa airport too is linked via shuttle train to Pisa central station (by car see directions from Pisa)
Trains will take you to Grosseto station where you need a taxi to reach Castel Porrona.
