Residence Ciel & Logis Chamonix-Mont-Blanc - Venere.com serviced apartments exterior Located in the centre of Chamonix, at the foot of the Aiguille du Midi cable car, the residence Ciel & Logis offers studios and apartments to enjoy the world-wide known ski and climbing resort, the first destination in France for passionates of winter sports.

The apartments are individually decorated but share the basic qualities required for a holiday venue.

The reception is open from 9 a.m. to noon and from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Every building features a lift and all the apartments are equipped with refrigerator and electric plates.

This has got to be the worst place I stayed in in my whole life! It was supposed to be a studio apartment with kitchenette and bathroom. They are all there but only in miniature format. If I stretched my arms and legs I could touch wall to wall! The place was unclean, there was hair on the floor and the bathroom fawcet (tap) handle kept coming off! We were supposed to take possession of the room at 7 pm and vacate the next day at 10 AM! and the icing on the cake was that upon reaching the propoerty we were asked if we needed bed linen, towels and pillows, for which there was an extra charge of 15 euro per person! Wehen we protested they said this was normal practice in france and also asked us to get back to Venere.com for any complaints. Not recommended for sane and hygienic people..

Very very very small appartment, not very clean, old and not updated. The beds are very uncomfortable and it is difficult for 6 persons to stay inside the appartment at the same time. The bathroom was old and not very clean. Thank God we only spent 2 days there. Chamonix is a very beautiful site and with a lot of things to do in the surroundings.

This is without question the worst "place" I have ever stayed in and well below the poorest quality on offer here in Romania. Considering the price 200+ euros per night we could have stayed in a hotel and we along with other families tried to find hotel rooms the first night of our stay - without success! I will never stay here again - nor will my wife or son.

Room was small but otherwise OK. Very hard to find - you can't see any sign from the road and have to walk in to find it. It was not clear from the web page that bedding was an extra charge, but we were informed of that by email after we made the reservation.

On arrival the hotel had no record of my booking, so 5 of us had to share a room. We were also charged €30 per room for an "out of hours" checkout which, quite simply, is a rip-off. I will not stay there again, and will recommend to all my friends that they do the same.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
Take motorway A40 direction Chamonix Mont-Blanc. At the rounabout, follow the indications for Téléphérique de l'Aiguille du Midi. Once at the Téléphérique, you can park your car. You will find the hotel on the square on your left.

By train
The Chamonix Mont-Blanc train station is only 5 minutes from the Residence. For more details check the city map outside the railway station (coordinates B6 on the map).

By airplane
The Geneva airport is 75 km away from Chamonix. Tou can contact the Residence via email at chamonixsud@email.com if you want to organise your transfer from the airport to the Residence.

HOTEL POLICIES

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. You cannot cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a non refundable or prepaid rate.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the apartments are available from 5.30 p.m. (even before if they are available) until 7 p.m. In case of late arrivals, please contact the property via email: chamonixsud@email.com.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the accomodations before 10 a.m.

INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
A €150,00 refundable guarantee deposit will be requested.
Parking is not included in the price and costs about €48,00 per week.
Airport transfers are not included in the price and cost about €44,00 per person each way. Please contact the property via email at chamonixsud@email.com.

Pets are accepted at an extra charge of €15,00, non declared pets cost €50,00.
Local tax costs €1,00 per person/day.
Bed linen and bath towels cost €14,00 per person.
Satellite TV costs €48,00 per week or €7,00 per day in the winter and €40,00 per week or €6,00 per day during the summer.
Final cleaning (except in the kitchen) costs €20,00 for studios and €30,00 for apartments.

CANCELLATION POLICY
CONDITION DE RESERVATION : Le montant de la réservation est débitée au moment de la réservation. CONDITIONS D'ANNULATIONS : Annulation faîte 90 jours ou plus avant l'arrivée est 100% remboursée moins 20 Euro.
