We arrived at the Chateau only to find it being next to a building site. We arrived in our room, which was on the second floor but unfortunately the Chateau didn't have a lift and there was no staff around to assist us with our bags. The room, although quite spacious, was very hot and there was no aircondition. Not ideal when travelling with a 5 months old baby. We had to open the windows and were disturbed by the building site next door. I don't think there were enough photos on the Venere.com website showing all types of rooms. I probably would have chosen a different hotel.

Rooms inadequately equipped, i.e. one soft armchair only, and severe lack of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Poor value.

Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. You cannot cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a non refundable or prepaid rate.

Check-in: the rooms are available from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. Later arrivals are to be communicated. On Sunday and Saturday, the accommodations are available from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.

CANCELLATION POLICY
