The family run pension Brigitta is situated in a quiet and peaceful residential area close to the city centre of Vienna, which is very well connected by public transport. Tram line 31 will take you in about 8 minutes to the central located Schottenring stop. From there it is just a few minutes walk to the main tourist attractions of this unique cultural metropolis.
The recently refurbished pension offers comfortable and tastefully furnished single, double and family rooms.
Guests especially appreciate the good price-performance ratio and convenient location.

We stayed 3 night at the Brigitta. From the train station we took a subway to the Jagerstr station. After we got off the subway we walked the area and could not find the Brigitta. We asked a few store owners in the area where it was, but no one knew. After walking in circles, with our luggage for over an hour a store owner helped us to the door of the Brigitta. We had a code number to entry to get our keys. The build is very old, the room was old with noisy old hardwood floors. The bathroom was clean and the bedsheets were clean. The lady who serviced breakfast was nice, but could not speak English. The breakfast was average. We would not stay there again, it is too far from the city center and you have to take a subway everywhere you go. The city is beautiful and we would get a room closer to the center. We paid 89.00 euros each night. Not good value for the price.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL
By car
From the highway A2, follow the indications to the city centre. Change to highway A23, following the signs for Wien-Zentrum; take the exit at Wien-Prater. Proceed along the federal road B277 for about 6 km; pass the Friedensbrücke and turn right onto the third street after the bridge. The pension is located on the left hand-side after the traffic light.
By train
From the Westbahnhof railway station, take underground line U6 to Jägerstraße. Then either walk (4 minutes) or continue by tram line 31 to Gerhardusgasse.
From the Südbahnhof railway station, proceed by tram line D until reaching Schottentor. There you have to change to underground line U2; get off at the Scottenring stop. From there continue by tram line 31 to Gerhardusgasse.
By airplane
From Wien Schwechat aiport, you can take the city airport train (CAT) to Wien Mitte. There you have to change to underground line U4; get off at the Schottenring stop. From there follow the above mentioned indications.
