hotel outside Welcome to Chalet Kammleitn, at the foot of Nassfelds' slopes. Our chalet is just a few minutes drive from The Millenium Express, the gondola with the largest lift line of the entire Austrian Alps, transporting you to an altitude of over 2000 metres in only 17 minutes.
Chalet Kammleitn has been newly renovated, and offers our guests a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All bedrooms are equipped with en-suite facilities. We have a selection of twin, triple and quad rooms, most with balcony and having the fantastic views of the Italian Carnic Alps, and the Nassfeld slopes.
Our facilities include:

· A games room with table football, Playstation 2 and a selection of games, plus a selection of Board Games
· Large, spacious Dining Room, with separate seated area with large flat-screened TV and DVD player. CD Player.
· Ski/Sports Room with boot warmers for all your sports equipment.

We are virtually on the banks of the River Gail with its crystal clear water, and with direct access onto the Cycle and Nordic Walking tracks, leading to hundreds of kilometers of cycling, mountain biking and walking trails.
The beautiful town of Hermagor is just 6km away, with its shops, banks, supermarkets and delicious bakeries.
The beautiful lakes of Presseggersee and Weissensee are 8km and 25km and offer an abundance of watersports, from swimming (temperatures reach 27 degrees), fishing, kayaking etc.

BREAKFAST

Austrian-Style Buffet Breakfast with a choice of cereals, yoghurts, fresh breads, selection of cold meats and cheese, boiled eggs, jams, honey etc. Fruit juice, a selection of teas and freshly brewed coffee.
Breakfast is served from 07:30- 10:00 in the summer months, and from 07:30-09:00 in the winter months.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
Travelling by car: From Klagenfurt airport, onto the autobahn, driving in the direction of Villach. Then staying on the autobahn, heading for Udine, Italy. Take the exit for Hermagor (B111). After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive in Hermagor. Staying on the B111, drive through Hermagor, towards Nassfeld. After 6kms, take the turn for Watschig. Drive under the B111, over the railway line and then over the bridge, take the second left-hand turn. Chalet Kammleitn is 50 meters up this road on the left.



By train
Coming from Klagenfurt, you can take a train or bus to Villach. Change in Villach, connection is possible by either train or bus to within 100 meters of Chalet Kammleitn, depending on flight times.



By airplane
Klagenfurt is our nearest airport, being approximately, 1 hours drive away. From the UK, Ryan Air fly direct from Stansted to Klagenfurt.
Alternatively, you can fly into Salzburg Airport (approx.2 hours drive); Ljubljana Airport (approx.1 hour 30 mins); Trieste (approx. 1 hour 45 mins); Venice (approx 2 hours 30 mins)

By public transportation
Coming from Klagenfurt, you can take a train or bus to Villach. Change in Villach, connection is possible by either train or bus to within 100 meters of Chalet Kammleitn, depending on flight times.
We can also arrange taxis from most airports, at very reasonable prices - please ask for details.
