    Location was excellent, a 2 minute walk to the Louvre and there are many great restaurants nearby. My only criticism was the lack of staff - there was only one or two people at reception at one time and they also handled other queries (ie if you needed mail delivered to the room etc). Service was sometimes slow. Maid service was average, the rooms were clean but the bathroom wasn't always cleaned thoroughly and she always forgot new towels and robes!

    By public transportation
    From Gare de Lyon station: take underground line 1, direction La Défense, and get off at Louvre Rivoli.

    From Gare du Nord station: take RER B or D (local train service) and get off at Châtelet Les Halles station.

    From Gare de l'Est station: take underground line 4, direction Porte d'Orléans, and get off at Châtelet Les Halles.

    From Paris Roissy/Charles de Gaulle International Airport: take RER B (local train service) and get off at Châtelet Les Halles station.

    From Paris Orly International Airport: take Orlyval shuttle service to Antony station. Then, take RER B (local train service), direction Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV and get off at Châtelet Les Halles station.
