Pension Fischer is located in the heart of Berlin. Theaters, museums, cinemas, galleries, the famous KaDeWe department store and other attractions are all within easy walking distance of the hotel.
This family-run property was completely renovated and refurbished in 2002. Its convenient position, between the KaDeWe and the famous Gedächniskirche memorial church, makes it an ideal starting point for your shopping and sightseeing tours in Berlin.
Housed in a typical old Berlin style building, with high ceilings and wonderful antique doors, Pension Fischer awaits you with lovely furnished rooms and a cosy ambience. A telephone is available to guests in the hall.

The room was pleasant and clean. Breakfast was good and the host was helpful while on the premises. However, when we arrived we needed to pick our keys up across the street, use one to enter the building, climb 3 long flights of stairs, use another key to access the floor of our room and the third key to open our room, as no one was on duty at reception much of the day. Our room faced the street and was quite noisy since we needed to have the windows open. The location was excellent, close to city tours, public transportaion, restaurants and shopping.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Pension Fisher. I came with a friend, but she arrived a lot earlier than me. This was no problem however. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Very near the U-bahn station.

The location of this property to the city centre compensated for very average accomadations. When the staff were around (breakfast only) they were very plesant.

Great location. Third floor walkup with 12 foot ceilings so be in good shape. Wonderful breakfast, very clean rooms and helpful staff. Warning! Very hot water. Shower stall is small. Terrific Turkish and Spanish restaurants across the street with the best service and food we had in 3 weeks.

By car
Take the Berliner Ring ring road in direction of Charlottenburg/Wilmersdorf, exit at Kurfürstendamm.
By train
From Ostbahnhof train station you may take one of the 5 underground lines. Get off at the 7th stop at Zoologischer Garten. The Zoologischer Garten train station lies only 500 meters from the hotel.
By public transportation
Take underground line U1 to Augsburger Str. and the line U2 to Wittenbergplatz.
By airplane
From Tegel airport: take bus X9 to Zoologischer Garten.
From Schönefeld airport: take the regional trains RE4 and RE5 to Zoologischer Garten.
From Tempelhof airport: take underground line U6 in direction of Alt-Tegel for 2 stations to Hallesches Tor, and line U2 in direction of Uhlandstraße to Wittenbergplatz.
