Residence Australia was the best choice among all of my hotels during a trip on 9 different cities in Europe. The hotel has a great location, 1 quarter from Plaza Catalunya, one of Barcelona's main subway and tram station and at a walking distance from many of the city sights. The service is filled with simpaty, competence and kindness. The rooms are very spacious and clean. And all that for a very fair price. If there is a con in this hotel, it is the absence of courtines at the bathtube, so the bathroom floor will be wet after your shower, but that's pretty much it. The rooms are quiet and ideal for families and people who desire comfort.

This place is centrally located and run by very friendly people. It is small so noise from adjoining rooms is limited and shared baths are kept spotless. It is on a busy street so traffic noise is sometimes high, but the convenient location more than made up for that. The owner gave us great tips on sites to see and areas of the city to avoid. I highly recommend this hostel.

Nice place, but very noisy, can't receive any guest! No dobble glass windows! Be ready to use eardrops... Otherwise very well placed close to the Ramblas, big supermarket and all other shops.

By train
From Barcelona Sants train station:
Take the green metro line (number 3) and get off at Plaça Catalunya.

By airplane
From Barcelona El Prat International Airport:
Take the bus line 46 Pl. Espanya/Aeroport Bcn at the airport terminals A/B and after 15 stops get off at Pl.Espanya-FGC. Take the L1 metro to Hospital de Bellvitge/Fondo at Espanya station and after 3 stops get off at Universitat.

Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the rooms are available at any time after 2 p.m. Since the reception hours are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. only, guests are kindly asked to provide an accurate arrival time. If you cannot meet your arrival time, call the hotel to reschedule.
Check-out: it is necessary to vacate the rooms not later than 11 a.m.

Additional beds are not included in the price and cost €20,00 for adults and €12,00 for children up to 12 years old.

Cancellation with less than 15 days notice may be charged one night of booking established. Full payment required on arrival.
