Stayokay Amsterdam Zeeburg Hostel will open in July 2007. This new hostel is located in a quiet, typical Amsterdam neighbourhood, the town centre is only 15 minutes away by bicycle or tram.
Stayokay Amsterdam Zeeburg Hostel is located in a stunning building: a former school from the early 1900s. The hostel is perfectly suited to host (large) groups, who can take advantage of various multi-functional spaces within the building.
Guests at Stayokay can enjoy films and theatrical performances in the same building, where special events will also regularly take place.
Among the services you will find a bar, a restaurant, a TV lounge, an Internet point, multifunctional halls, laundry service, public telephones, pool table and sale of discounted tickets for various attractions. Maximum stay of 7 nights.

Be sure to bring your own towel - not included in linens. Although remote, the property seemed to be in a quiet, safe neighborhood near all public transport. It's a very large, but well run hostel.

I will recommended this hostel to every one in this world.... I stayd in 6 person room.and was a nice experience.And surround this hostel Stayokay are nearly down town,and to shopping markets about 400-500 metres away,and nice parks.BR.
HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL
By bus
From Central station take bus number 22 and get off at Molukkenstraat stop.
From here, you can walk for about 6 minutes or take tram n. 14 and stop at Zeeburgerdijk.
By underground
Take underground line 53 from Central Station and get off at Waterlooplein station. Then take tram line 14 until Zeeburgerdijk stop.
By airplane
From the airport's train station take a train to Amsterdam Central Station, then follow the indications above.
