The coastline hotel caters for the more mature client especially when we were there in early June. Good shuttle bus to Qwadra and small charge for bus to Valetta. Great choice of food for breakfast and dinner. There was a mix up with our bill on departure and took a while to resolve even after we left.

As for 4 stars hotel I was disappointed that we had to pay extra for such simple services as a remote control (only 4 channels!), beach towels, use of internet (over $10.00 per hour), a coffee/tea maker in a room (over $12.00 per day), etc. I must say that most of the staff was very helpful although it seemed at times that there was little communication between different shifts. I like the location and hotel transportation to Buggibba where one could get a bus to anywhere in Malta. Good food.

La relación calidad/precio es buena. La estancia nuestra para dos personas, una semana, a principios de mayo en media pensión y en habitación con vistas al mar, tuvo un coste de 302,00 €. El turista común es inglés, alemán y francés. Por lo tanto, todo está orientado ciertamente a estos clientes. Español... ¿what's that? ;-) La piscina del hotel está bastante bien, y aunque dispone de un pequeño gimnasio, y dos pistas de tenis, (coste: 6 € por pista), no existen otros entretenimientos dirigidos, al menos en esas fechas. La localización, no es céntrica. Se sitúa a unos 25 minutos del aeropuerto. El coste en taxi es de 25,00 €. El hotel dispone de un autobus gratuíto a Qwara, donde hay una pequeña estación de autobuses con conexión al resto de la isla. El coste de estos autobuses es de 1,16 € por recorrido. Por lo demás, bien. Esperábamos más de la isla. Pocas zonas de playa, y si muchas bahías rocosas de fácil acceso, pero poco practicables debido al vertido de aguas residuales de los establecimientos hoteleros. Volveríamos al hotel. No dejéis de visitar Blue Lagon en Comino, cala interior de aguas cristalinas aunque ciertamente saturadas de embarcaciones turísticas. ¡Buen Viaje!

Make sure to INSIST on a non-smoking room at the time of booking, we only "requested" it and had a hard time getting it on arrival (we had to take a smoking room for the first night). This Hotel seems to attract a more "mature" clientele (and groups) and the night time entertainment caters for them...not a property for clubbers or even in-betweens...but very peaceful which suited us... Indoor pool and jacuzzi not very warm, indoor sauna unbearably hot! There is a wastedump/landfill about a mile behind the property which was not nice to see. Pizza in Hotel's Lacosta Restaurant is amazing! Dinner Buffet in regular dining room for approx €17.50 per person (3 course) is great value! There is a regular complimentary hotel shuttle service to the local towns, so don't let the fact that the hotel is "out of town" put you off. It is also just a 20 minute walk. Don't miss the 100 year old Cassia Ta Salina amazing restaurant immediately behind the Hotel (5 minutes walk) €70.00 for a 3 course gourmet meal for 2 including wine! My fiancé picked his own fresh locally caught fish literally off the hook! As for me: Best Steak I have had in my entire life! For other superb local restaurants consult the good restaurant guide in your bedside locker in Hotel. General Advise: Rent a car (From only €70 for 1 week if you book well in advance) and do your own touring, the all inclusive tour we did (Gozo & Camino) with lunch included was a major let down - bad value for money!

Good hotel. Convenient to go everywhere if you have a car. No beach for swiming, but generally nice ocean view. Nice place, if you are looking for local historic and cultural trips, but not for entartainment. Room was okay.
