A family business since 1919, the hotel Minotel Walfisch has a high reputation well beyond the region of Franconia.
The hotel is situated in the heart of the baroque and wine city of Würzburg, directly on the Main river, in front of the Marienberg fortress. From here you have a splendid view of the river, the old vineyards and the lovely Käppele pilgrimage church.
This first-class hotel also features a restaurant which tickles your taste buds. The menu ranges from the hearty Franconian to the international cuisine.

By car
From Frankfurt/Stuttgart:
Proceed along the motorway A3 Frankfurt/Stuttgart and take the exit Würzburg-Heidingsfeld in direction of S. Oliver Arena, Sanderau, Stadtmitte and Congress-Centrum. Drive along the Main until you are opposite the Marienberg castle.
From Nürnberg/München/Ulm:
Drive along the motorway A3 Nürnberg/München/Ulm and take the exit Würzburg-Randersacker in direction of Würzburg, Sanderau, Carl-Diem-Halle and Congress-Centrum. Drive along the Main until you are opposite the Marienberg castle.
From Hamburg/Kassel:
Drive along the motorway A7 Hamburg/Kassel and take the exit Würzburg Estenfeld in direction of Würzburg and Congress-Centrum. Turn left before the Congress-Centrum and go along the Main until you are opposite the Marienberg castle.
By train
From the main railway station take tram line 1 (direction Sanderau), 3 (direction Heuchelhof) or 5 (direction Rottenbauer) and get off at Neubaustraße. Cross the Neubaustraße and go towards the riverbank. After 50 metres turn left at Pleidenturm.
By airplane
From Frankfurt airport guests can avail of the hotel's shuttle service, subject to charges.
