Veruy well located hotel. Breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. A bit pricy but you can expect that so close to Monaco. Villefranche is a beautiful spot.

This was a race weekend. We were quoted 84euros the first night then 150 the next four nights. When I cancelled the first and last nights my bill was changed to 600 euros for three nights. I felt this to be excessive. The staff was great, friendly, and helpful; I just felt the price to be a bit excessive.

It was possible to change our room from the street to the seaside, so we had a nice view from the balcony. Very noisy at night. Room very small. Carpets very old. Nice colours on the walls. For 93 Euro (comfort room) without breakfast to expensive.

Villefranche-sur-mer was lovely, but the hotel is expensive for what you get. The breakfast is bad at best with stale crossants and instant coffee (which I didn't think was socially acceptable anymore) whilst the hotel is dirty. The shower in my room was coming off the wall meaning that it was impossible to stand under the shower, and although I told the reception desk twice nothing was done.

Desk clerk smoking all the time. At times, the lobby was full of cigarette smell. The rooms are cramped and the bathroom facilities are comical but fit the description of shower, sink, toilet. Room was not cleaned on one day, and no towels replaced. Elevator humorous since you cannot use it at the same time as your luggage. Body or luggage, one or the other, your choice. The pictures were misleading, showing fantastic rooms, whereas the "real" rooms are shockingly small. Room 302. You can use the balcony if you wish to change your clothes or your mind. Parking is in a public lot which requires you to trust in the police not checking the hours on your parking stub. Location is good re: the town of Villefranche-sur-mer, Monaco, Nice, et cetera. For the price, the situation is understandable. Anything over 60-65 Euros is too much for this property.

We enjoyed our stay in Ville-franche very much. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in procuring us a taxi and helping us figure out when our train left the next morning. Our breakfast was excellent-- yummy croissants and they were accomodating since we needed to leave early. The room was clean and we had an amazing view from our balcony. The balcony is definately worth it. The lift is very small so we had to walk up a lot of stairs since we were on the third floor. That seemed par for the course for all of our stays in France and Italy.

Situato a pochi passi da due parcheggi pubblici che sono gratuiti dalle ore 12 del sabato fino al lunedi mattina. Non lontano dalla stazione dei treni e dalla spiaggia, entrambe raggiungibli anche a piedi. Rilevante l'ottima accoglienza ricevuta e la gentilezza degli addetti.

we spent a fantastic 8 nights here. although basic...and well worth the cost...the facilities were excellent. hairdryer,fridge,tv,air con in rooms. the staff were so helpful and friendly. nothing was too much trouble. we were so pleased with our stay that we are booking to return in sept/oct this year. the only down fall with villefranch itself is the treckk back hundreds of steps to the town from the beautiful beach. however we returned home fitter than when we arrived!!!!!extremely good value for money and very clean. beds also very clean and comfy.

Rafaela and Antonio were the most hospitable of any hotel staff during our stay in France! We'll gladly refer friends to this hotel as location is ideal (right next to TI and bus station), large room was more than we had come to expect after staying in hotels in Paris and Nice, and the service was top notch!!! The view overlooking the sea and the town was amazing, as well!! We look forward to return visits!

This is a wonderful hotel! We had such an amazing time in Ville Franche sur Mer, and this hotel is a perfect place to stay. The breakfast buffet in the morning is delicious and has a full variety of things to eat. The owner, Alberto, who also works at the front desk is extremely friendly and helpful, gives great advice about what to do, where to go and where to eat! One restaurant he recommended which everyone should visit is called l'Echallot, Monique and her husband own and run it and it is exquisite! He cooks upstairs while she serves downstaris...treat yourselves its worth it! Go find Alberto at hotel Riviera and tell him a couple he met in july from Arizona sent you!

Good Hotel related to the price, excellent panorama on the last floor (public area), very small lift, far from the beach. Comment on your site: problem for families with children because of during booking there is not the field of number of children and their age.

little but confortable hotel, located in a exclusive bay of "cote d'azur". Incredible view of mediterranean sea!!
