It was our first visit to Pallanza and we enjoyed it very much. The hotel was nice and very good value, ideal for children. The breakfast was excellent. There is a great little beach five minutes' walk from the hotel and lots to do. I would recommend the Europalace highly.

We stayed for 1 night on our way into Italy. Hotel Europalace is situated beautifully at Lago Maggiore. Old hotel, but nicely renovated, has charming atmosfere. The lake is across the street. Centre of Palanza is 3 minutes walking. Very friendly staff at hotel, even a Dutch speaking lady receptionist. Good breakfast. Spacious, clean family room with possibility to close major bed room part. Only thing to improve were to install showercurtain in bathroom and repair/provide window shade on one window. All in all a very nice experience, tried to book here also on way back(for 2 nights) but didn't find available on internet.

Excellent location with free public parking nearby. We had a good,quiet,adequate size room with a little balcony onto one of the side of the hotel so we had an unexpected partial view on the lake. Breakfast was good and the croissants were particularly excellent. We would definitely stay there again as Europalace offered excellent quality/price.

Staff excellent and very helpful, but hotel very dated (like something out of the sixties), breakfast very average for a 4 start hotel (e.g no fresh fruit) and full of large tour groups

Excellent lakeside position in centre of town. Ideally placed for lake ferries, restaurants and cafes. Free roadside car parking. Worth paying the few euros extra for lake view

By car
From the A26 Voltri-Gravellona Toce motorway, take the Baveno-Stresa exit and then follow the indications to Pallanza-Verbania for about 11 km/6.8 miles.

TRANSPORT SERVICES
