The shopping area arround the Hotel is great! The best location in town.

Although friendly the staff at times appeared to be going through the motions of doing their job because it was their job. The genuine enthusiasm was, in my opinion missing.

The location of the Hotel Luna Baglioni was absolutely perfect. Literally it was only 15 steps to St Marks Square. The room was fabulous (we went for a Junior Suite) and although it was pricy, it was worth every penny. The description, booking, photographs, everything done through Venere was spot on! I would definitely use Venere again.

We had a junior suite. the room was immaculate, beautifully decorated. the bathroom was huge, with double shower and tv. A separate dressing room meant that there was more space in the main bedroom area which wasn't huge. Staff were lovely. Breakfast high quality. Beautifully decorated throughout.

Perfect hotel to stay in Venice. The only disadvantage is the short cafe and restaurant menu.

You really get what you pay for at this Venetian masterpiece. Located just behind Piazza San Marco, you are just seconds/minutes from all the sites, but the Luna lies just enough off the beaten tourist paths to maintain a feeling of being your own private romantic hideaway. Rooms and decor rival that of the most luxurious hotels in the world, yet still fit with the Medieval/Renaissance atmosphere of Venice. Service by the staff went really above and beyond, even for such a "starry" locale. As Newlyweds on our Honeymoon, this was about as perfect as it gets to start things off...

The hotel is central to everyting & I highly recommend that you get the water taxi from the airport (€90 - total) to hotel. This gives you good view of the city and with the taxi dropping to the front door it gets your break off to a romantic start.

A deluxe hotel directly off of Piazza San Marco with its own boat landing. We stayed in a very spacious and comfortable junior suite and enjoyed our stay very much. If possible, allow the hotel to arrange your arrival and departure to/from the airport or port; you will save quite a bit of $ and things will go flawlessly.

Luna Baglioni is a very well located Hotel in Venice. The standards are high and it will contribute to a nice stay in that beautiful city. However, the hotel lacks a number of services which are nowadays mandatories for a hotel which ambition and prices are those of the most luxurious ones. In room services are poor and a spa is definetely missing.

This was a special trip for me and my girlfriend and we were rather apprehensive of the reception that we would recieve. I have to say that the service was second to none. Although clearly a gay couple, we were treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. The suite we had booked was amazing and well worth the price. Recommend eating in the hotel restaurant at least once- little pricey but 10 star food and 10 star treatment. Perfect location.. 2 mins from St Marks Square. PERFCET IN EVERY WAY!!

This is an excellent hotel with an extremely excellent restaurant supported by equal service. The location is ideal with San Marco literally on the door step. Pricy but this is 5 stars in Venice. Congratulations to venere who made booking so simple and efficient

The property was exactly as I expected based on the desriptions in the website. The location was perfect, a few steps from the St. Mark's square water taxi, and was accessible to everywhere in Venice. The staff were very helpful.

We loved the Luna Baglioni. Room 308 was a great Choice in rooms. The room had a large bedroom with balcony and Living room with two Balconys and a very large Terrace overlooking the grand canal. We couldn't have had a better hotel with as good location anywhere in Venice.

Well decorated, elegant, but extremely small rooms - good location especially if you like high-end shopping. The staff was extremely rude however and not trustworthy. For example the concierge said the only way to get to the airport was a 90E water taxi - he did not mention a 10E water bus and got angry when I asked about it. Don't expect friendly helpful staff.

The Hotel was everything it promised to be, and in an excellent location. Our only relatively minor complaint was that breakfast, at 25 Euros to include access to scrambled egg and bacon, was rather excessively priced. Otherwise it was an extremely luxurious hotel, excellent help from the staff, immaculately clean and the room tidied/stocked several times a day.

Beautiful hotel, good central location, but my room was overlooking an alley, and there was a lot of noise from people walking and talking in the alley. Room was spacious, beautiful, well outfitted, bed was nice. TV was too small, too far away, but no one goes to Venice to watch TV--hopefully. Somehow my room, a single, didn't come with the breakfast when I booked it. It wasn't obvious that they were omitting breakfast when I booked it. Seemed pretty chintzy of the hotel to require US$260 per night and have the guest pay extra for breakfast. I think it should have been included.

The Luna Baglioni is a true 5 star property. I stayed in a single room, which was the size of a closet. The double rooms are much larger, and the size and quality goes up substantially with the price. The breakfast was great, although 19 euro extra. I dined under 18th century frescoes. The lobby, restaurant, etc. were unbelieveably beautiful. The location cant be beat. The 3 negative things are: 1.VERY small room. A larger room in a 3-star can be bought for 1/3 the price. 2.Noisy back alley. I could hear every footstep from every passer-by. 3.I was charged "their own" exchange rate on the credit card. Their machine does it automatically, and adds an extra 4% when it makes the charge. Otherwise, very, very nice service.

My brother and I found the hotel entirely satisfactory which came up to all our expectations. If only the Reception offered City Guide Maps automatically on arrival and the breakfast room could serve tea promptly our stay would have been perfect. The hotel's own restaurant was excellent and its chef and staff are to be congratulated. We would certainly stay at the 'Baglioni' on a revisit.

The Luna Baglioni is a great hotel with the most beautiful breakfast room in the world (breakfast to match.) There was some confusion about whether the price quoted on venere.com included tax. After I politely contested the higher rate they tried to charge, more senior staff were consulted who said they had made a mistake. Keep your eye open for that.

The Hotel was outstanding. Its location was excellent. The website could do with better package deals which include meals as an example and also the facility to upgrade if you so wish. The information is concise and allows you to make a good choice when comparing hotels and facilities.
