A lovely place to stay just before the start of the season. Very spacious room with lovely sea view. The waterbus to Venice made it a great place to stay on the Lido. It was well worth it for the walks around the Lido and along he beaches.

The Westin Excelsior was a very comfortable resort hotel located on the Lido. A shuttle boat brings guests to Piazza San Marco, with the ride taking just over 30 minutes. This luxurious hotel provides a quiet and relaxing place to stay that is close to, but not right in the middle of, Venice and all of its sights. I look forward to returning to this hotel.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
Take the A4 and follow the signs to Venezia. After the bridge della Liberta, approximately 4 kilometers long, proceed to the car parking facilities at Piazzale Roma.

By train
Water Taxis are available from the waterfront immediately outside the Santa Lucia railway station. Private transfers can also be organized. Please contact the hotel for further information.

By airplane
Transfers from the Marco Polo international airport by private hotel shuttle boat can be arranged in advance. Please contact the concierge or reservations department with flight details. Please contact the Starwood Hospitality Desk in the airport arrival hall (open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.) for assistance.
