Actualy this is old hotel with outdated facilities. Breakfast was poor. For this price I usually got better hotels in other parts of Italy.

Unfortunately we had to notice that our room in the hotel was terrible: cleaning was very poor, absolutely no space to move, only one very small window, no possibility to hang things to dry. But the worst was the bathroom, which was unacceptabely, very much moisture, very very small, after cleaning had been done there still were all hairs in the shower, the waste paper basket had to be put in the bidet to make it possible to enter the bathroom etc., etc... I have to say, that we told the hotel manager after three days, that the room was inacceptabel, and then only we had another room which was acceptabel for this price. The best is, that they say that they are aware that some of their rooms aren't ok, but that you have to count with that in high season! But they even didn't offer a lower price for this poor rooms!

L'hotel ha due diverse strutture, abbiamo prenotato quella meno cara ma al nostro arrivo ci è stata data una camera nella struttura migliore. La camera era nuovissima e pulita ma decisamente piccola. Non consiglio lunghe permanenze ma è perfetto per il weekend.

Palace seemed dirty and had a karoake bar beneath it. It was loud and smelled smoky at night. We paid little...it was good for the price, but definitely not a winner of a hotel!

The Palace at Verazze was the most expensive yet least liked hotel during this trip. The hotel room was very small and smoky(although it was a non-smoking room). The beds, bedding, and furnishing were poor quality. The bunk bed in our room was unstable and uncomfortable. The bathroom towels were old and the edges were frayed. There was no supply of hot water in the bathroom and no attempt was made to fix the problem. The hotel staff was offten unwilling to offer any help. The outside surrounding was not what we expecting. To start with one needs to look hard to find the ocean from our ocean view room. The free parking promised consists of spaces that impossible to get in and out of. About the city of Varazze, there was very limited public beach area. The bulk of the beachfront was boarded up for paying customers only. Our experience at Verezza was not good. The main problem with the room was that it did not have air conditioning. A portable fan was provided but was inadequate. A rather soulless place. Breakfast facilities could be better. Located on a hill.

Très bien situé, près de la zone piétonne de Varazze et de la plage gratuite. Mais quand même relativement cher en termes de qualité/prix.

The room we had was not airconditioned. We had a room with a view. There was lots of street noise early in the morning (from about 05H30). The hotel staff was not that friendly, and the breakfast was the worst we had in our three week trip of Italy (friendliness of staff, quality of food and the breakfast room) and we also felt that the town was not that great. If you have to stay here, I would suggest a room at the back that is not facing the street. If ever in this area again, I would try another town and hotel.
