Modern hotel with free use of internet for e-mails(very handy) Hotel surrounds a bit run down in appearance but it's only a short walk to the old port area.Good for a stopover.Free hotel parking.

This is very pleasant hotel located on the edge of an area that is in the process of upgrading--i.e. a bit dingy. The old medieval area is close in the other direction (a few blocks I think). Opposite the hotel is a lovely dinner restaurant--Le Gargoyle--specialty brochette. I can recommend this restaurant and the helpfulness of its owner and staff.

You can walk form the station or the center of the city to this hotel in ten minutes. And there are a coinlaundry and a grocery store and a restaurant next to the hotel. But it was quiet in the room.The clark was kindhearted. This hotel is suitable for busy travelers who need comfortabele stay.

Seulement une observation: Il n'y a pas de armoires fermés, pas encore des tables de nuit avec des tiroires. Alors ce n'est pas practique et aise pour une stage de plusiers jours. Il'y a des problemes pour amenager les bagages d'une famille.

By car
From Rennes, take the N166 national road and exit at Vannes centre le port, pass by the military barracks till the 4th traffic lights, then go across the crossroad towards Préfecture le port. After 50 metres, take the first street on the left (rue Aristide Briand) to the square. After 25 metres you will find the entrance of the car park of the hotel, on your right.
From Nantes, take the N165 national road and take the first exit towards Vannes Est le port. At the fourth traffic lights, turn left towards Préfecture le port. After 50 metres, take the first street on the left (rue Aristide Briand) to the square. After 25 metres you will find the entrance of the car park of the hotel, on your right.
From Lorient, take the N165 national road and take the second exit towards Vannes centre, then follow the indications to centre ville. At the second roundabout (Palais des Arts et des Congrès),take boulevard de la Paix on the left. At the sixth traffic light, turn right to Préfecture. After 50 metres, take the first street on the left (rue Aristide Briand) to the square. After 25 metres you will find the entrance of the car park of the hotel, on the right.
