hotel front view
The elegant and exclusive hotel Husa Reina Victoria is located in the city centre of Valencia, next to the well known Plaza del Ayuntamiento. The hotel, situated in a privileged zone right in the centre of the main commercial and business area of Valencia, offers an ideal location for guests traveling either for pleasure or for business.
Husa Reina Victoria is only 300 meters (984.2 feet) from the railway station, and 200 meters (656.1 feet) from the underground station (which connects to the airport), and the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias lies at only 2 km (1.2 miles) from the hotel. The Museo de Cerámica museum, La Lonja silk exchange, Mercado Central market, the cathedral, and the historical center are also close to the hotel.
The hotel has all the charm of a Spanish bourgeois palacete (a second home built and decorated as a small palace, which had a recreational use) dating back to the beginning of the 20th century, and offers comfortable rooms and up-to-date facilities.

It was our first time in Valencia. The town is wonderful, the location of the hotel is right in the center, perfect for visiting the old town even not using metro or buses. Staff was nice and helpful, room was quite and clean. Definitively a good hotel to stay in when visiting Valencia.

It is a very nice building and located in a very beautiful area of Valencia. Inside everything was very fresh and wellcept. I enjoyed just walking up the beautiful stairs.

A very central hotel which was seconds away from restaurants, transport, attractions. The staff were very helpful but my daughter is a fluent Spanish speaker so she dealt with everything not sure how good their English was. THe rooms were good but their was no view as they were at the back of the building onto a small enclosed area. Will ask for a front room next time. There was a smell of drains around the hotel at times. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was very good both in quality and price. They cooked a vegetarian meal for my daughter which was not on the menu. I would stay again but ask for a front room next time. Valencia is a lovely city.
Italy, Jan 2008
The only annoying thing is that in my room we could smell food being cooked from the kitchen.

Very well located hotel with helpful capable staff. Good public areas. Bedroom OK but would have benefitted from redecorating, Rather old TV.

Nice hotel! I was not thrilled with Valencia, not too visitor friendly (unlike the rest of Spain which we loved) but the hotel was certainly nice enough. Good locale near the gare and close to the streetcar.
USA, Nov 2007
Excellent location a short walk from the train station. Rooms are small and a bit noisy, but with Victorian charm appropriate to the name. Baths are completely modernized. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Street noise very loud. Bad smell in the room and in the halls from clogged pipes. No bidet. Poor illumination in bathroom, it makes shaving a very difficult task.

We could not fault this hotel in any way and were very impressed with our room, location and facilties. It was approx 5min walk from the railway station with our bags. Banks, shopping, photo downloading, open deck tour bus departure point were all close by.

We will certainly use the hotel on our next visit. It is an ideal central place to stay. Close to the station, main bus and metro routes.

The hotel was dreary and the room were noisy. The public area downstairs was crowded and unpleasant. The restaurant was closed so we were unable to enjoy that facility.

All through our checking-in 3 members of staff at the desk were loudly talking privately (spanish !) The one serving us did not speak English. All bedroom doors had to be slammed to be closed, which was very disturbing when trying to sleep in the early hours of morning. A lot of noice from the street due to old windows. There should be international TV, but no BBC or any other channels in English. The bathroom was very small. We do not rate this hotel be a 4 star hotel. The location is excellent, next to the town hall square.

This hotel is really in the city center, about 20-30 meters to the main square, the position is the best you can find I believe! But for the rest I'm not happy, the rooms are really very small and with no windows!!! Some rooms must have it, but not mine! Inside the bathroom there was no soup, no shampoo, nothing! I had to ask to the people for them! Also towel there was 1-2, really not enought. The hotel is a 2-3 star hotel inside, really not more! But I repeat, the position is really great!!! I would return only in a better room (believe me, it is not so difficult to find one!) Bye!

The hotel is very well situated to visit the old city and is beside no.35 bus terminus to City of Arts and Sciences. The breakfast, although excellent, was probably a bit expensive but apart from that we did not find any fault.

Bellissime camere, molto pulite. Ubicazione ottimale (centralissima ma tranquilla). Difetti: vista dalle camere su cortile interno, colazione a buffet ricchissima ma molto cara.

Bello, elegante, in pieno centro. Ma qualcosa gli manca...da un 4 stelle mi sarei aspettato di più. Comunque a poco più di €50 per doppia resta un affare.

Hotel molto elegante, camere pulite e spaziose. Centralissimo (praticamente a 10 mt da Piazza dell'Ajuntamento). Per il prezzo offerto e davvero conveniente. Ci tornerei e lo consiglio a tutti.

This was an excellent value in August 2006 and the price quoted on venere included tax, unlike so many hotels on this booking engine who lure you in with a fasle price (ie a price exlcuding tax). Our room was huge! It was also extremely quiet despite being so close to the action of the main shopping mall. It was only a few minutes walk from the train station and close to many of the main attractions. The bathroom was also large and modern. Beds were comfortable, and there was cable TV with the british BBC channel. We were so greatful to the hotel for letting us into our room extremely early (7am), having arrived early after an overnight train trip. Our expectations were exceeded. Staff were extremely polite and helpful, and had a good command of English. We only have good things to say about this hotel and highly recommend it.

A nice hotel in a great location. I found it a little noisy in the morning due to people bringing their luggage along the corridor when checking out. Don't bother with the breakfast. Our room had only a tiny window which wasn't a problem but if I where to return to Valencia I'd ask for a room with a nice window.

Very central hotel. Beautiful room. The reception should be ameliorated and renewed. Special fares for the parking areas would be very useful as the parking in the sorrounding areas are very expensive (about 22-24 euros/day. The breakfast is not enclosed and price is quite high (about 11 euros/person)but it is served in a beautiful room.

The hotel was prefect the people at reception could have been more friendly. They acted as if we were bothering them when we had questions about check-in and the room. It was almost as if because we were American they were bothered by us because we did not speak Spanish. However, it did not affect our opinion of our overall stay.

We found the hotel to be a very good price for a hotel with real character in the heart of the historic old district in Valencia. It was a reasonable walk from the train station and the hotel staff arranged for a cab to get us to the Airport for less than 20e. The breakfast buffet was very good and priced reasonably at 23e. I would stay there again if I get to Valencia. The staff could speak enough English to serve our needs, but with some confusion.

Excellent hotel! Located in the city center, close to the town hall. The train station is within walking distance and so is the bus stop from the airport. Very cosy hotel: the front and the small lobby have Art Deco elements. The rooms are very nice, extremely clean and very big according to Spanish standards. They all have air conditioning and sound proof windows, no luxury in a city like Valencia. The staff is extremely helpfull and most of them can speak English. Excellent breakfast buffet, which is unfortunately not included in the price.

A bit run down . For a 4-star hotel, the maintenance and cleanliness of the corridors was poor. Very noisy. Thin walls. Heard neighbors coming in and out.Entrance lobby is almost non-existent. The hotel is very convenient to reach on foot from the train station. The room was comfortable, cheerful and everything worked and the price was right!

Hello, I was 6 nights in August and the 65 Euro for night was a very good deal. The room was in a very good state with brand new fornitures. Any problem at all, the location is central and I had a feeling of absolute safety all long my staying there. Absolutely reccomanded.

Information given was accurate. The Hotel was quiet but we were on the first floor and the traffic was noisy apart from Saturday when it was better. This was my fault for assuming it was quiet as it was near a pedestrian street. Location was very central and I would stay in same area if I was to travel again. Breakfast was too expensive in the hotel and I would like the option of just having coffee and a bread roll. Shops and cafes in the city opened mostly at 10am which was late for us. I would know this if travelling again. The critical things I would say about the hotel was the stair carpet needed to be replaced badly and shower in the bathroom was not working too well. Room size was excellent as was bathroom size and reception was very efficient.
