Not very helpful staff, the air condition did only work very poorly, small rooms, not very quiet, I saw other hotels in turin which offered more comfort for the same price. good connection with bus and metro.

Don't NECESSARILY let us dissuade you from staying here. Our ONLY issue was the HVAC. In the Winter, all Hotels in Italy turn off their AC. The heater was going nuts in the hallways. The Jolly shut down the system but the residual heat in the halls required we sleep w/ the room window open and the Hotel is on a major street. That plus the fact that Italy only seems to have extra-extra-firm beds (we live here now so we know) made this the poorest night sleep we have had at any Italian hotel. I think this was just a fluke. Italy has had a warm spell this November / December and the HVAC in these hotels isn't all that sophisticated (on/off). Had it been normally freddo, this wouldn't be an issue. The staff was very apologetic but, nonetheless, our poor night sleep was as it was.

We have booked a triple but the hotel offered us a double with a small and uncomfortable extra bed, for the first night. Avevamo prenotato una tripla ma ci fu offerta solo una doppia con una scomoda brandina per la prima notte.

The room was cheap but not a four stars one(according to the italian hotel quality ranking). It was probably a three stars room. However, the common spaces was four star like the declared ranking. Good was the breakfast. They tried two times to change the room reserved with www.venere.com with a better but much more expensive one. Pay attention! However, you can have a very good price/quality ratio. You can reach the hotel easily from Porta Susa train station (500 m.), and the surroundings are quiet and good.

We stayed here only one night, and then only between a late arriving train and an early departing flight. So we didn't really get to sample much from this hotel. Still, it was clean, comfortable, across the street from the train station (the local one, not Porta Susa where the TGV stops), and quiet. A light breakfast was included in the price, and the front desk was very helpful in making our arrangements for airport transfer.

On arrival I had big problems with the receptionist beacuse he didn't accepted the price quoted in Venere.com booking receipt. He told me that price shown was for only one night, while in the receipt it was specified for two nights. Only the day after my arrival, they confirmed the booking price.
