the hotel was new, nicely appointed, but it was at the Turin Olympic village which isn't at all interesting now that the Olympics are over. There i s a big mall there, who cares, but the breakfast was very good.

The Hotel was amazing. It was worth every penny. The rooms were well appointed. I've learned that the size and furnishing of the bath room speaks to the quality of the facility. My experience was reinforced by the totality of the offerings. The restaurant meals were beyond the expectation of "hotel" food. Their quality and presentation equalled top restaurants. We ate there both evenings we were in town. The breakfast and lunch were more than adequate. I'd recommend it to all and will seek other "Le Meridien" offerings.

This claims to be a five star hotel but yet after midnight we were unable to get drinks?
I know this is not standard Italian behaviour just very disappointed with the hotel. Other than that all was ok but I found it very difficult to see what they had / did to warrant five stars. More a case of design over unction I think
