we were sooo disappointed, the room was very dirty and smelly, we have to remove the bed cover because it smell so bad and old, the bathroom was so dirty, there were molds and the shower floor was so dirty, we dreaded taking a bath. with the price it was definitely not worth it, we decided to stay near the airport because of our early flight but it did'nt matter, we paid more than staying somewhere else better, really very dissatisfied won't recommend at all and would never go back even it is the last available, would have just stayed in the airport and waited for our flight.

Good place to stay if you are flying from Fiumicino airport. Especially if you are travelling by car. We arrived late in the evening by car and the next morning we returned our rental car to the airport and flew home. The breakfast was good.

The only good thing to say about the hotel is that it is fairly (15 minute drive)close to the airport. Otherwise you are paying Holiday Inn prices (or more) for a Motel 8 accomodation (or less).

My husband and I stayed here at the end of our 10-day journey around Italy. We wanted someplace close to the airport so we could easily make our morning flight. The hotel was good value for the price (very nice breakfast), however, my opinion is slightly tainted because the directions from the website on how to find this place by car were HORRIBLE. The actual exit for the hotel is off of the A12 Autostrade (highway) -- and it's in the town of Torrimpietra (significantly north of Fiumicino where the airport is located). In the directions, it never mentions the Torrimpietra exit or A12. So, as we drove south towards Roma, we unknowingly missed the exit and got caught in terrible Rome traffic for 4 hours before we could get turned around and found a place to call the hotel and get better directions. Once we found the hotel (11:30pm) we had a pleasant stay. And it was quite easy and fast to get to the airport in the morning. Unfortunately they just had horrid directions on the Venere website. We would've had a much more relaxing, stress-free and peaceful last evening in Italy if we just had better directions. My advice is to call the hotel directly before your visit to get very specific directions depending on where you're coming from.

Lovely facility with abundent flowers.Staff was accomodating and english speaking.Great breakfast with pastries, bread, assortment of juices, meat and speciality coffee.the staff arranged for taxi to airport efficently .Local resturant across the street had local foods and the wait staff made exellent recomendations though we did not speak thier language we were pleased with te result.Supermarket about two blocks away had nice cheeses and wine. From the breeze on the patio and the offering of beach toys in market and stores the beach must be near. There was some noise from trains which we knew from reviews but it did not disturb our sleep.Romm was large and bath large with generous towels, soap and shampoo.Would be better value for driving guests due to taxi cost but that included was still satisfied with value.Would like to stay longer and explore area.We traveled as a group of three women over fifty.Enjoyed the stay.

Surroundings are not nice - on busy highway. Only restaurant was across the highway which reccomended by hotel staff and turned out to be excellent and reasonablely priced. Conveniently located not far from Fiumincino airport. great for a one day stay before heading to the airport. I would return.

The hotel was clean and the dining room looked very nice. We had to leave so early, we didn't get to have breakfast. The pizzaria across the street was wonderful for dinner. The rooms had the beds we needed for 2 adults and 2 children. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of room. It was perfect for our quick trip (20 min.) to the airport at 3:30 a.m.

It just depends on what you are looking for. Motel Corsi fit our needs perfectly as a very afforable place, close to the airport (If you are driving), for the four of us (my sister, myself, and our two adult daughters)to stay the night before our trip back to the U.S. That is all we wanted and exactly what we got! We arrived there after dark and were able to find it very easily (I had Googled it prior to our trip). Parking was free and we parked only fifty feet from the front entrance. Ater checking in we went to a wonderful supermarket across the road to do last minute gift shopping and gather wine/deli/bakery items for our dinner to eat in our room. There was a restaurant and a McDonalds close by but we opted to eat in the room while packing and relaxing. Our quad room was clean but, the bedspreads looked old and dirty. We pulled them off the beds immediately. The bathroom was large and clean with the very best shower that we had found in Italy! The FREE breakfast starts at 0600 (for those that are flying out early), and includes the typical sweets, meats, cheeses, juices, that you find on an Italian breakfast buffet. The dining room was large, beautiful, and the buffet table was so georgeous that we took pictures of it! The downside? VERY loud sounds from planes, trains, and automobiles! Just take your sleeping pill and enjoy the very comfortable beds! Oh . . . and there is an elevator! We didn't have to lugg everything up and down three flights of stairs! The trip to the airport was quick and easy.

Motel Corsi was an excellent stay for our last night in Italy before an early morning flight out of FCO. We had a rental car so the drive was fast and easy to the parking garage for the return. The trains stop pretty early (8pm?) so we could not easily get back to the spanish steps from the hotel. But, we were ablt to grab a beer at the bar accross the road and hang out and talk about everything we had seen. The restaurant accross the street was adequate. The food was ok overall, but compared to other places we'd eaten, it was toward the bottom of the list. There was also a gas station in front of the hotel. This was very convenient to top off the rental car. Staff was friendly and helpfull. In short, if you want to stay close to the airport for 1 night at a bargain price, this hotel will work well for you.

The Hotel was charming and the complimentary breakfasts and service was very nice. The big drawback was only that it was far from any special attractions. The da Cora across the street, is a wonderful local family restaurant and it's waiters give you a wonderful feel of the Italian hospitality. About a block away is a Supermarket and a Mc Donald's and that's about it.

The hotel location was fine for the airport and directions were good. The manager on Saturday evening was very helpful in assisting with contacting Hertz rental car company at the airport. It was a lifesaver. The breakfast was very nice and of course the Trattoria across the street was EXCELLENT!! The bedspreads in the room were dirty looking and very tired looking. The bathroom was nice but the room felt dirty because of the bedspreads.

Room was fine but had been contaminated by smokers, staff would or could not do anything about this. Noise of Trains, planes and highway are noticeable inspite of double glazing. Trattoria da Carlo across the road is qood. Handy to airport, about 15 minutes by road, as long as you have a car. Taxis are a rip off, Euros 45 and up to 100+ each way; according to hotel staff this is because they are outside the Rome Metropolitan Taxi range. We arrived on an evening flight and did not wish to drive in the dark. It would have been cheaper to take delivery of our rental car on arrival at the airport and pay an extra days hire.

It was very close to a fun restaurant, had a gas station in front, and was 10 minutes from the airport. For convenience in leaving Italy early in the morning, it was great. If you want to stay for a nigth before taking your plane this is your hotel. It´s 20 minutes from Fiumicino (by car) and it´s easy to get there (by car). But, if you want to visit Rome... I don´t think staying here is a good option. It´s very far from the city center by public transport and by car. Try to don´t spend too much time in the hotel sorroundings I think it´s the ugliest place i´ve seen in Italy. Requiring a Hotel near the airport we found Motel Corsi through Venere. The experience more than matched the expectation from the description. Namely the very friendly and helpful staff and the comprehensive breakfast not normally found in Italy. The room was spacious and although old worldy had a very restful feel and a large bathroom.Overall very good value for money. As an added bonus accross the road is an excellent trattoria with a very good fish selection not to mention the wine selection and pizzas. I will certainly stay here again and will recommend Motel corsi to my travelling friends

We had already stayed at this hotel on the first night of our holiday, and although we had had a poor experience we decided to chance it again. Big mistake! The main problem was the noise. As well as the main road to the front and the train line at the back, the air conditioning made a grinding noise whenever it was switched on. So did we swelter or put up with even more noise? We chose the latter. In the event, the noise from the fan, road and train track didn't matter at all as the family from Hell next door drowned out all three - until well after midnight. This family was like a bunch of wild animals. They took up three or four rooms on the same corridor as us and left the doors open so that they could shout from one room to another. Screaming (and I do mean screaming) kids ran up and down the corridor while presumably their mothers and fathers laughed and joked in their respective rooms. After remonstrating with the male members of their party quite forcibly, I was getting absolutely nowhere so I complained to the front desk. His answer was to hold his head in his hands and tell me that they were a family of Iranians who were out of control and that he couldn't do anything. How about throwing them out? I asked. His answer was a shrug and my Italian wasn't good enough to understand his response but it was something along the lines of 'what can I do?' I went back to bed but couldn't sleep at all, even though I had been about 6 hours behind the wheel of a car that day. I decided to sleep on top of the bed nearest to the door, still in my clothes, in case I had to get up in the middle of the night to deal with these idiots. I managed to doze fitfully and the noise died down somewhere after 2am. Needless to say we were not very refreshed for our trip home next day, which was the whole idea of staying at this place. The trattoria across the road was OK, but certainly not worth the hassle we experienced at Motel Corsi. At breakfast, we received an apology for the nois

The directions to this hotel are woeful, especially coming from the airport. It took us well over an hour to find it. Hardly slept at all due to the incessant traffic noise and the trains. The room was very dated and the whole place looked a bit jaded really. We stayed here one night at the start and another at the end of our trip. We thought the first night was bad - wait until you read about the last night! On the plus side the people are pleasant enough and the breakfast is good - but only by Italian standards. Italians don't really do breakfast. We'll look for somewhere else next time we have a stopover near Rome.

The motel is excellent, if you have a car. You can not get to this motel without a private car. We took the train, and the owner of the bar took us to the motel. It would have cost 50 euros to take a taxi the 2 km from the train station to the motel! So, stay here if you have a car. The meal across the street is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Best meal we had in Italy. Get whatever the waiter recommends. But, only stay here if you have a car. It's cheaper to stay in Rome and take the train or taxi to the airport.

The toilet in our room would not flush at all after the first flush. After complaint we were furnished with a pail to fill from the shower and pour in the toilet after each use. The eveniing desk clerk was "unsure" about a price reduction for this and the morning clerk refused to acknowledge we had a problem, only insisting the the toilets work. On a better note, the meal at the place across the street was great. I especially recommend the mussels. All of our party liked the food and casual neighborhood atmosphere.

Excellent value motel - helpful staff, and the breakfasts were wonderful for an Italian hotel, with lots of choice and even scrambled egg with pancetta! We (our family of 5) stayed at Motel Corsi on our last night before heading to the Rome airport. We were warmly welcomed and our two rooms were ready for us. Motel Corsi is on the main road (Via Aurelia) and a train runs behind the property, so it is not a quiet location, but with the windows closed, we were not really bothered by the noise. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The decor of the hotel was a bit outdated, but filled with lots of Italy photos and posters reminding us of our trip. The breakfast was a large, festive buffet of breads, baked goods, fruit juices and cereals but also included scrambled eggs which we hadn't seen for two weeks! The wait staff was very pleasant and cheery and spoke Italian to all of us as if we understood every word. All in all, this was a good choice for our last nigth. It was only 15-20 minutes from the airport and a good value for the money. One note (a tip we had read in an earlier Venere comment) The restauraunt across the street from the hotel is called Trattoria-Pizzeria da Carlo a Torrimpietra, and it was wonderful. It was one of the best meals we had in Italy and we received the warmest welcome here, by far! It is a family run place with a big antipasto selection, seafood dishes and big servings of tiramisu for dessert and delicious noccino! The kitchen staff came out to make sure we were enjoying everything (and to make sure our youngest daughter was eating!) It was a delicious meal and a really fun night - a true taste of Italy.

The rooms were the smelliest and most out of date of any places we have stayed in several trips to Italy. The taxi from the airport was 60 euros and car back to the airport was 50. This Hotel is fine if you have a car and are droping it off at the airport. If you use a taxi even though it is 15 minutes from the airport it will cost you between 50 and 100 euros to get there depending on the number of people in yor party. Our bathroom had a shower head that had been repaired so that it was damaged and leaked a stream into the air so we could not help but get the floor wet and the drain was clogged. The elevator was not working and it did not seem it was going to be fixed any time soom. Breakfast, however was excellent and the staff friendly and helpfull.

The Motel is quite nice but further away from the airport than advertised. the distance was reasonable; but, this extra distance ma; but a reasonable drive to the airport. Breakfast was good. The restaraunt across the street is EXCELLENT!! and makes the motel worth staying at. the antipasto is filling and varied. A true Italian family trattoria.

You should review the indications to reach it. There is another alternative, specially if you are on another place. For your indications, it appears even closer to the airport. And the highway is not depicted as "via apia" anywhere. Best, as I read before going, the breakfast; second best, their welcoming and the quality vs price, considering what is around. Anyway, you should tell the owner that the bedspreads would appreciate a replacement.

Not at all near the airport nor the beach-$60 cab ride to Motel Corsi or Rome from airport--best thing to do @airport-take escalator up to train and ride into Rome in airconditioning. Cabbies dont like to run their air. Train is $9.50 pp. When you get to Termini--then get cab to your hotel or train to any destination. When you land you are overwhelmed by cabbies and they dont help you get a train. Its upstairs. Motel Corsi is not in Fuimicino but north quite a ways. Beach is far from Corsi as well. Venere is the best way to book-even when you are there at internet cafes. Dont look at star ratings--some two star are better than 4 star. Dont expect much air cond. and watch for hotels that have none in the summer.

The employees were very helpful. The breakfast was very very good. The location of the hotel is perfect to visit Rome and not far from the Fiumicino Airport. We really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommand that hotel. Linda and Vanessa.

This is a very charming hotel! The staff was helpful, friendly and spoke English well. Breakfast was a feast. The hotel was located a distance from Rome, but close to the airport. No taxis or shuttles would take us to the motel economically, so we rented a car and that worked out well and we saw some of the beautiful countryside. We would stay there again.

Their internet directions to the hotel were wrong. Two local people in Fuimicino knew the property and directed us to Fregene, on A12, which is where it is. It was expensive for as dowdy as it was. There was a delightful restaurant across the street where Hotel Corsi people directed us for dinner - they served excellent food.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at motel corsi. The service/facilities/food was excellent!, although a car is a definate benefit if you are staying there....we used the local bus service (which is quite unreliable!)to travel around and to get to and from Rome centre, this takes around 40mins.....also, there are no buses to the nearest beach, which is an hours walk away. However trying to work out times/locations of buses added to the whole experience (and improved our italian language skills!) all in all a fantastic location/hotel.........the restaurant across the road is fantastic, beautiful traditional italian dishes with really friendly service at a decent price.

Good breakfast. Nice room. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Auto parking was well lighted and monitored with cameras. Easy commute to Rome. Provided discount parking within Rome's city limits that was close to bus or subway. We will stay here again when in the area.

Overall the staff were very helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast and bathroom were the best we had in Italy. The only problem was a very noisy set of neighbors who allowed their children to play in the hall. The closeness of FCO airport was a big factor in our choice.

Motel Corsi was a nice motel very convienent to the airport. Their map was very misleading but we were told they have since changed it.It was easy to get into the city and metro system. I thought the breakfast room was one of the nicest we had been in. Decorated with great taste. Rooms were nice for European motel. Restaurant across the street was excellent. Would stay their again on our next trip.

The location on the web site is incorrect, and the stated distance from the Rome airport is incorrect. This information was misleading, and I would not have choses this property if I knew the true location. The cost of transportation to and from the hotel was substantially more than the added cost for other hotels nearer to the airport. The Corsi Hotel staff was very courteous, and made our stay comfortable. I would stay here again if I was interested in this area. During this visit, I was not interested in this area, but rather much closer to the airport.

We had requested driving directions which never came, so we went to Flumicino which was the listed address and discovered that we were miles from the hotel. Better driving directions would have been helpful. The breakfast was wonderful and the attention of the staff exceptional. The rocks to take away were a nice touch - ours is now at home in our fountain. The location is good for air travel, but the room was very noisy - especially when the trains went past. All in all though, it was clean and comfortable and we would stay again.

This hotel is really in the middle of nowhere. I thought that it was close to the airport but it cost me 50 Euros to get to the airport by taxi in the morning. From the Rome Termini train station I had to take the metro then a bus to get to the hotel. There is one pizzeria across the street, really the only restuarant I could see. No outside area to hang out in, which if you have kids might be a problem. My room was very smoky, although in the hotel's defense, I didn't ask to change rooms. The hotel is right on a main roadway and right above a gas station so it is loud. The windows did muffle a lot of it though. But if you left the windows open it would be loud. The breakfast buffet in the morning was good. Meats, cheeses, pastries, juice and coffee. Overall it wasn't bad for the price. My main complaints are with the location and the taxi that ripped me off!

This hotel is on a main road... a very busy main road, and is extremely noisy as a result. The walls are thin, and you can hear EVERYTHING that is going on in the next room. The rooms vary from rather threadbare to not too bad. The breakfast is reasonable, but nothing special. This place is reasonably inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a place that is cheap, and don't plan on staying more than one night... this will do... but for a small amount more, you can stay in a much nicer and much quieter hotel in the area instead.

we were told it was in the fuimicino area but we has to rent a car for 50 euros a day to get there or take a taxi which was going to charge us 60 euros to and from airport. well, we made lemonade out of our lemons. we rented a car and went to ostia antica archelogical site and the beach at ostia for a wonderful day. the pizza tratorria across the street serves authentic italian foods with wood fired oven. the serving staff at breakfast were great. the room was clean and comfortable and airy with high ceilings and big opening windows. the bathroom facilities were more than adequate. the beds were comfortable. thank you, michael kelly; san leandro, ca. usa

The hotel's bio didn't say anything about the roundtrip taxi ride from the airport being 120 Euro! I stayed there trying to save money in order to catch an extremely early morning flight back to the U.S. The bio said it was 10 minutes away from the airport, when in fact it was over 20. That translates to an hour after paying the exorbident taxi fare. I liked my night host who had coffee, an incredible breakfast (they do all their own baking) and a taxi waiting for me at 5:00 am!
