The hotel is small and very friendly. We stayed in a superior room and had a really lovely balcony with wonderful large comfortable chairs. The balcony overlooked the old city and the view at night was magical - well worth the additional cost.
The dinner menu/food rather pretentious and overdone but the breakfast was good and plentiful.
The hotel could do with rather better customer service. In particula there are a lot of steps from the carpark to reception, and no-one to help with the bags - not good for a 4* hotel.

Laundry service a bad joke. White clothes alter their race. A T-shirt dissappears into a black hole. First the washer, then the dryer breaks down, and the 3 Stooges are called in for repairs.

This was the best hotel in which we have ever stayed. It was beautifully situated, the room was absolutely lovely and the balconey was teriffic, the restaurant served delicious food, and the staff was friendly and courteous. We were made to feel we were honored guests. We would definitely recommend this hotel with the highest marks, and would stay there again if we were in Toledo. Excellent!
