I would recommend that travellers pay a little more to stay in Tivoli itself. This was not a very welcoming hotel for non Italian speaking patrons. The food offered in the restraunt for dinner was sub par. The breakfast, stale.The smell of sulphur from the theral pools is quite overwhelming.

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere, with very few restaurants or other facilities near to it. While it looks quite new on the outside, the rooms are very old and faded. I opened the window on the first room we had, and the handle fell off! We were relocated to another room which just looked the same - old and worn. I didn't try and open the window in there! The rooms were clean, just very depressing. The staff were far better than the hotel. We had left a bag at the previous hotel we'd stayed in, and the people at Terme did all they could to contact the hotel to ensure it was there. Even as we were driving back, they kept trying and were able to tell the previous hotel we were on our way.

Overall this hotel was fine for one night. Right off the main road, easy parking and easy to get to the surrounding sights. My only complaint was that the bedding was worn and the mattress seemed old so the room appeared a little uninviting at first. But we ended up sleeping fine. A little sprucing up would do wonders.
