It was the highlight of my trip, this hotel is like a destination in itself. The staff kindly gave us a free upgrade making our stay so romantic. Its not cheap, but its the place to splurge and spoil yourself.

First time at Timeo. Beautifull Taormina, Splendid hotel, the best in Taormina and the best in Sicily. But some of the employees in particular in reception are rude and arrogant. They ruin our stance in Taormina. Despite the exhorbitant prices paid we had to "enjoy" a duplex room in the annex of the main hotel, with a splendid view on the main parking. No way to get anything more suitable. Asking if we could run away after one night we were told that the whole three nights were to be paid anyhow and anyway. We had to admire the parking instead of the bay of Taormina and so did we.

A truly grand experience! A beautiful room with terrace in the middle of the gardens. Great restaurant. Staff were extremely helpful. Would have liked a little clearer direction to the parking facility. Our highest recommendation to anyone traveling to Sicily.

We had a wonderful time in Taormina. This hotel is just next to the Greek Theatre and right at the end of the main street, keeping hotel surroundings very quiet. There was a shuttle to takes us and pick us up from their sister hotel that was right on the beach, but a lovely pool was also available on the property. The rooms were immaculate and service impeccable by all the staff. On our last day there our check out was at 12:00 but we were allowed to stay at the poolside for most of the afternoon and then use gym showers easily accessable from the pool. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

Wow! What a beautiful grand hotel. Very historic, very romantic. A little hard to find -- but just ask locals for directions. A little pricy but well worth it. Not on the beach; up on the mountain overlooking the sea -- gorgeous with Mt. Etna in the background.
Right next door to Taormina's main attraction -- the Teatro Greco (Greek Theatre). Within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, sites.
Highly recommended.

hotel, people, area, food -all are fantastic and we enjoyed our stay. This was our first stop on a 12 day wedding trip to Italy, we had planned and arranged the trip over the internet. The only problem, which was a disappointing first impression, was on our first night we were given a room without a view eventhough we had been promised a room with a view, afterall this was our wedding trip. After spending the first night in a small room without a view we were moved to a junior suite with a fabulous view.

Excellent hotel.
A guest room is large enough, with a splendid view of The Ionia sea and Mt.Etna.
The manner of the staff was comfortable and friendly.
An entrance of the hotel is very convenient in the neighbor of an entrance of “Teatro Greco”.
