The hotel is centrally located, very clean and neat and the personnel
very gracious.
A lttle noisy at times but it is located on the main street, but we slept well and had a wonderful view from a mini balcony off the room.
We enjoyed our stay there and would stay again.
The view from the 3rd floor breakfast room is spectacular and the breakfast contained a multitude of delicious foods.
I give this place an A+

The hotel is located in the city center which is quite loud (until 5 a.m.). There is no parking opportunity. The next garage is a 15 minutes walk away and you get a discount of 40% which is important due to the high garage prices. (which is an information we received too late!) The breakfast is on the roof of the hotel with a nice view to the sea and the etna. Really beautiful!

One of the main comments we read in reviews prior to our stay was that the noise level from the street was very high. This is simply a price you pay for the fantastic location. If you want a quiet place to stay, Del Corso is not the place. If you want a great location and decent value for the money, Del Corso is a good choice.

Hotel Del Corso is very nice. In fact, the nicest and largest room on my 2 1/2 week Italy vacation. However the hotel and my room were on a busy tourist street and there was a great amount of noise until the early morning hours. While Taormina is beautiful, the massive crowds took away from the experience. With all the people there in late April, I could not imagine what it would be like in mid summer.

Hotel is good value for the money and well located. Description should show that it is located on a street that does not allow vehicular traffic. Also if they locate you in the annex their is no elevator and there are a lot of steps. Parking is 14 euros per day and a good walk from the hotel. The staff did not give good directions to the parking. The free breakfast was wonderful and view from the roof top breakfast area is exquisite.

Excellent B&B if using as a base camp. Both rooms and stairwell are a little tight for space, though this seems to be somewhat befitting of Taormina itself. The rooms however were clean, the location fantastic and the views over from Etna to the coast at breakfast breathtaking.
Don't go expecting 5 star luxury and you won't be disappointed.

Directions and maps posted on venere were not at all clear, while in fact, getting there should be simple. Parking was close by, but once we dropped off our bags at the hotel, poor directions led us in the car all over town via one-way streets just to go a few meters. Still, the Del Corso's location is excellent, at one end of the Corso, and everything is a short walk away in the town of Taormina. Breakfast was ample and the buffet varied and well prepared; it's served in a beautiful room on the top floor, overlooking Mt. Etna. Our room was small and cramped, clean and quaint, but could use some fixing up; the decor and walls and floor are a little ragged. We were told the desk closed at 10 pm, which was no problem for us, but for late-nighters, it would have been an inconvenience to get the caretaker up to let you in. Next door to the hotel is a beautiful 15th century palazzo with works by a well-known sculptor on display, as well as temporary exhibits. Taormina itself is touristy, but still beautiful, with nice shops and sights.

Excellent breakfast taken on the roof terrace with views of the sea & Mt Etna. Ideal position on the main street. Noisy at 4.30am on Saturdays when all the locals come home! Very nice hotel & would book again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms were very spacious and the area we were in was excellent. The only small problem we had was dragging down our luggage quite a few number of stairs from our hotel room to hotel entrance. The other thing that we must point out was that when we went late for breakfast, even though this was within the stipulated time, the bread would have finished and even croissants and no replenishment was done. No attempt to try and get some was made. We were not the only ones experiencing this, as on a particular day we noticed quite a few other guests with same problem. However in spite of this we had a lovely time, staff were very freindly and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. In fact I already have to quite a few Maltese friends.
