This hotel lacks a personality, it is really a business type hotel, in other words very cold and inhospitable and I would not recommend it from a leisure point of view, from a business point of view I would. The female staff were very helpful but I could not say the same for the male staff, maybe it was due to a lack of English or just a lack of care. It was too far away from Taormina and the free shuttle bus service was not much use, it did not leave frequently enough and when it did it tended to be booked up, a bigger bus might help.

Having stayed in five different hotels in the last three weeks, I'm just not sure there's HUNDREDS of dollars difference in quality between a $200 per night hotel and a $400 per night hotel... having said that, this place was lovely, and everything from the terrace to the towels were great in our room. After the first afternoon, we never ate a meal in the hotel (except for breakfast, which was included)- the restaurants were REALLY expensive!

The hotel's carpet needed to be replaced and they overcompensated on the freshner to mask its uncleanliness. The dinner restaurant was our least favorite part of the hotel. The food was below fair and our waiter catered to other tables and left us the whole dinner with plates and glasses stacking up. The front desk personnel always seemed like we were bothering them when we asked a question. This hotel was the least convenient to book tours. Otherwise a beautiful location and surroundings. The pool was great!!

ONE OF THE BIGGEST HOTELS IN THE AREA. UNFORTUNATELY, CATERING TO CARDIOLOGY MEETING DURING OUR STAY. NICE LOCATION, SPACIOUS AND CLEAN ROOMS. FREQUENT SHUTTLE BUS UP TO TAORMINA. WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.

The room was enough spacious and clean with splendid views.
But one negative point. If the shuttle bus to the city center should be available more often, services and facilities would be perfect.
This hotel is worth staying.
