Room was nice, spacious, nice balcony. Bathroom has some mold/mildew and shower pan leaked water. The gentlemen were nice. Pool was refreshing. Taormina was wonderful. Villa Sirina not too far from town, we had a car, but had no problem finding parking in the garage and walking thru town. A bit overpriced, but hey look where you are. Pictures on venere do not do this place justice. A little hard to find at first, but only passed it by once. But it is right next to the hospital and the sirens are a bit annoying, and therefore the price might be lower.

Villa Sirina is excellent value for your money.
We highly recommend the restaurant L'Antico Ulivo both for its service and food. The restaurant is located about half-way up the hill towards town and parking garage.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Salvatore speaks good english. Hotel rooms very clean and well decorated. Good breakfast buffet. Definately recommend this hotel. Minor problem is the road up to Taormina (centre) from the hotel is too busy to walk along. A car is needed or you have to take the bus (€1.70).
Taormina is a wonderful town with plenty of good restaurants and shops. Views across the bay are spectacular. Good beach activities and scuba diving at Taormina Mazzaro & Isolabella.

This place was simply stunning! The hotel staff were brilliant and happily provided me with any information I needed. The price paid for rooms seemed cheap following my stay as the size of the rooms and the comforts were superb. The location of the hotel is also near perfect with the train station and coast a five minute walk away and the main centre of Taormina not far away either. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will almost certainly return! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to go to Taormina.

The hotel is exquisitely furnished in the common areas mixing antiques and modern furniture. Rooms are quite spacious and some have a good size balcony. Taormina centre is only a couple of Km away via a steep climb, which makes for good exercise after the yummy breakfast provided. Sevice is excellent and personalised and Salvatore & Giuseppe made us really feel at home. We'll certainly return and I recommend it to all those, who are looking to relax in beautiful surroundings.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Sirina over the Easter holidays 2006. The villa is a most beautfiful place with a lovely garden, a great view to the seaside and is extremly nicely furnished. It was much nicer than I had expected from the website. The hotel staff was very helpful. Thank you for everything. I can really recommend your place and would come back at any time.

Not as close to the ocean as it seemed and difficult to find. Being off season, we were the only ones there so the restaurant wasn't open. Beautiful public areas, bedrooms small and bathrooms very small.

Every thing about this hotel was good, but no where on the web site or comments did it mention the very noisy busy road next to the hotel. We found the noise quite intrusive, but then again we do live in the country and are not used to traffic noise.

The situation of the hotel is not too hot.
Very near to a big motorway bridge and next door to the local main hospital.
But the hotel itself is very nice as well as the people. May be a little over-priced considering the situation of the hotel.

The location of this hotel looks unpromising on arrival in the area, but once you are there it is like a little oasis. There was a spacious patio/balcony with a view of the sea and the hills, the room was pleasant (if a little dark in the Italian style) and the pool and gardens are pleasant, with vines, olives and a lemon grove. There was an excellent hot buffet breakfast with fresh fruit salad, taken outside in the shade of trees. ALthough there was some commuter traffic in the lane, this was not noticable from the hotel. It was a short drive up an extremely narrow twisty steep lane to Taormina, but the new multi-storey car park at the top was very convenient for easy access to this very attractive town. The beach was nearby.

The Villa Sirina is a very comfortable place with a pleasant and welcoming staff. The physical surroundings are excellent; it's a charming small hotel. The courtyards and surrounding gardens are beautiful, and the building itself is in splendid shape. There is a lovely swimming pool, and for visitors only anxious to lounge in the warm sunshine, it can't be beat. And although the bed pillows were a bit lumpy, all in all, the cost/value ratio is decidedly favorable.
There is one major drawback, however: location. For a Taormina-listing, it must be noted that it is barely within the geographic confines of Taormina, and not very convenient to the main attractions. Although the website says it is 0.7 km from Taormina beaches, it is really 0.7 km from the Giardini-Naxos beaches, and even then, that's to the nearest end of the (stony) beach. It's not an easy hike back and forth, even with a sidewalk most of the way (not all). As for driving down to the beach, if you have a car, there's little likelihood of ever finding a parking space anywhere near the beach anyway. As for visiting the sights in Taormina proper, where most of the restaurants are, and the Greek Theater and views of Mt. Aetna, once again, it depends on whether you have a car or not. If you do, it's a relatively short but hair-raising slalom-course drive up the mountain to a public parking garage. The drive back at night is worrisome enough that one should forego any thoughts of wine with dinner. There is the occasional bus, we heard, and one can get a taxi. Although the Villa Sirina serves both breakfast and lunch, dinner means going either to Taormina (lots of excellent places to eat) or Giardini-Naxos (not so many).

Villa Sirina is a wonderful place to stay! The hotel and it's staff were excellent and it was a wonderful start to the day to take a really good breakfast on the terrace near the pool. Although you can walk to the edges of Giardini Naxos, a car is needed to visit Taormina and surrounding areas.

The hotel is not in the centre of Taormina but is only a 10 minute bus ride from the nearby train station (5/10 min. walk. This turned out to be a benefit for us as it provided a welcome oasis from the overcrowded streets of Taormina. The hotel is a beautifully converted villa with swimming pool and terrace on which breakfast and lunch are served. The breakfast is good covering most peoples tastes i.e. cereals, fresh fruit salads, cold meats, bacon & eggs and bread/croissants. Our room was well furnished with large balcony overlooking Giardini-Naxos and was thoroughly cleaned daily. All the staff are friendly and made us feel very welcome. The only downside of the hotel is the entrance which is situated on a blind bend which makes leaving a tricky task. The hotel has provided a mirror to assist vision but this still didn't prevent us having a minor collision leaving the hotel! Overall the Villa Sirina provided us with a great base to explore Taormina and recommend it to anyone staying in the area .

My wife and I had an excellent visit at Villa Sirina. The location was very easy access to Toarmina; The breakfasts were great - outside on the patio by the pool - The rooms and views were very pleasant and enjoyable. Our only negative was the outdoor pool closed at 18:30 and the sun didn't set until 20:00 and they did not allow a swim in the evening. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

A very nice place with a lot of threes and flowers inside (and a swimming pool) and a lot of old pictures inside.
We were very desappointed on our arrival to see the hotel was 1 km far from taormina, circled bu ae road !
Instead, a pleasant journey
