exterior - night The Avithos Resort hotel, a new complex built in traditional Kefalonian style, first opened its doors in the summer of 2004. Beautifully located on the west coast of Kefalonia, Greece, looking directly over to Zakynthos, the property lies at the outskirts of Avithos village, an area renowned for it's wonderful sandy beach.

This 3 star hotel at the Greek Ionian Sea offers a combination of studios and apartments, each providing the same exceptionally high standards and facilities. The entrance to the complex leads you to the reception and, through lawned gardens and flower beds, the paths sweep around the pool directly to the accommodations, located around the perimeter of the resort.

Designed and built with quality and comfort in mind, the family run property is situated in a very secluded area, so you won't find any noise or traffic intrusion during your seaside holiday in Greece, yet the resort is neither difficult to find nor to explore from.

Avithos Resort Hotel is open from April to October.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By airplane
The airport of Kefalonia is located about 5 km away from the hotel. Bus and taxi services are available at the airport bus station, with destinations throughout the island.

By boat
There are daily ferry and high-speed ferry services connecting Kefalonia to the mainland. Poros harbour is serviced by boats arriving from Athens' port of Piraeus, while Sami harbour hosts boats coming from Italy. Taxis are easily found at the end of the wharf.
