The directions were not as clear as they could have been for this hotel but it's location next to the Orangerie makes it hard to miss for too long. I can't think of a better deal than what we received and Strasbourg,as well, is a treat of a city to visit. I would certainly return to this hotel and city and do it all over again. Forget the breakfast as there is a good kitchenette although no cloths or soaps are provided for cleanup in this area - mind you, we did not ask.

The Résidence Bach offers excellent quality for money when you stay there out of season. The rooms are spacious and quiet and the garage is a comfortable possibility for those who travel by car and don't want to leave it outside in the street.

An excellent spacious bedroom , with balcony ; The room also combined a well-equipped kitchenette should the residents prefer to cater for themselves.

This was our first time in Strasbourg, and the hotel was perfect. Only 10 minutes walk to tram which took us directly to downtown in a couple of minutes. Hotel suite was excellent, top floor with THREE balconies, large, American sized rooms, incl. bathroom, very friendly staff, wonderful large park next door with two excellent restaurants - lots of joggers at nighttime, so we felt perfectly safe. Cute Italian restaurant next door with good prices and food.
The only minus is the price of the breakfast, 17 euros pr. person is outrageous - there are two bakeries on the way to the tram with good food - for a tenth of the price at the hotel.
Parking on the street or in hotel garage, but you need a small'ish car to park in garage.
Neighborhood is quiet and very nice.
Hotel is easy to find with a GPS unit or without.

The most important thing is to find the hotel as it is very non -descript in appearance. You can drive past it easily. There did not appear ot be any evening meal offered and breakfast was 15 euros. However the rooms are totally eqipped with cooking facilities so you could whip an extravaganza if you so desired! The are is pleasant and not too far from the legislative buildings.

I was taking part in an amateur stage of the Tour de France. The hotel was most obliging keeping my bike box and belongings safe overnight for nothing whilst I was in the race. The room was huge with kitchen facilities and a supermarket around the corner and a balcony. The location was ideal for my purposes but it would be a walk to the centre for a regular tourist. I would recommend this hotel without reservation for its quality/cost ratio and professional management.

Excellent hotel, looks as if it's brand new, and a bit high-tech (you'll see what I mean when you stay there). They could do even better if they had WiFi in every room, not just in the lobby, but it's free - a nice bonus.
One of the few quad room offerings in entire city, huge and clean rooms, great view from the balcony, friendly staff, plentiful breakfast (15 euro but kids eat for free).
The only negative impression is the sigarette smoke in the lobby (smoking bar is merged with reception desk :-). This should hopefully be fixed France-wide next year.
Location is excellent for family stay, (great park nearby, quiet, upscale residential neighborhood, nice inexpensive italian restaurant nearby), but you need to walk 15 minutes to tram (and then pay ~3 euro per person for roundtrip), or 30 minutes to city center.
We paid Venere rates, which may explain the satisfaction we had, normal rates would have been too high.

The appartements in this hotel were very good and spacy with bad and shower.
No restaurant in the hotel but one nearby and very close to a nice parc ideal for stretching your legs. Breakfast is ok but the offered products are basic and limited and not included in the price. Nevertheless, good hotel for a short stay.

Excellent accomodation - excellent location overlooking Parc de l'Orangerie and close to the European Buildings. A pleasant 15 minute walk to the city centre. There is also a good bus service near by. We would certainly go back to this hotel.

What a great place. Very cheap, beautiful 2 room suite, room service meal quite good. Ate dinner and breakfasts (provided our own) on our private balcony. Location brilliant provided you have a car (a bit far from town and transport if not). Adjacent to a super park for kids to play in. Staff helpful and good in English. Used the internet terminal at the bar, very good. A great time of year (August) to visit Strasbourg. Easy to find. Can't wait to come back.

The hotel is located in a residential area. The rooms are clean, confortable and spacious. The breakfast is expensive (14 euros). As it's far away from the Tram station (15 min), its location is only convenient to clients having a car.
---------
L'hotel est situé dans un quartier résidentiel. Très calme la nuit. Seul reproche : il faut marcher 15 min pour trouver la station de tram. Ne convient qu'aux voyageurs ayant une voiture.

One of the best surprises I've ever had in booking rooms - really wonderful place for a budget price - must be the time of year (August)? Lovely surroundings near the gracious park (where there is a good restaurant). A brisk walk to the tram and then a ride into the city - no problems. Breakfast was very good, though for the budget traveller 14 euros might be a bit steep. However as you can cook in the appartments, if you buy in a few things you can have a pleasant breakfast in the room!

Very large room with little kitchen and wardrobe room, we had both shower and bathtub.
The hotel is close to European Institutions and 50 metres from Parc dell’Orangerie, a wonderful park with a lot of kids area, the zoo, place for jogging and for relaxing

Just a remark about the fact that no indication about "how to access the hotel by bus or tramway" is given on the web site
About the feedback form I am just filling :
Why am I asked to answer ALL the items, since some of them at the end of sublists seem to be empty (no subtitle)

We stayed 3 days in this hotel. We were lucky to get an appartment instead of a single room. The room was clean, nicely furnished and very quiet. The hotel offers a lockable garage that costs EUR 14 per day, we were informed when we arrived at the hotel. We were not so happy about the fact that we had to pay extra for the breakfast. EUR 14 per person per day! We were not aware of this, the staff did not inform us about this. But still the quality of the room compensates for this and so we can recommend this hotel.

This is really a wonderful hotel. The room was marvelous; clean, neat and the view was great. The bathroom was really nice and specially clean. Also, the hotel is very well located, just a few minutes from the EU Council building and to the train station.
I will go back anytime and stay at this hotel.
Wonderful!!!

Nice hotel. Good weekend price. Nice room. Best out of 5 Hotels during our Europe trip. A little outside of the city center though. And I don't think they make this clear. You have to catch a tram and then walk 15 minutes.

Very friendly reception staff with good spoken english. Self catering facilities in apartment basic but sufficient for breakfast/snack needs, wouldn't like to have to cook sunday lunch though. Well placed for European institutions and local food/drink mini-market.

One special remark abut the breakfast staff. My experience was not that positive. I have had breakfast in the hotel twice and both times a lot of the food was gone before I even ate anything. When I requested more of some, it was promised but not given, even after asking several times.

The hotel was clean and modern, and I was allocated an executive apartment even though I had paid only a quarter the price! Big room with separate bedroom and kitchen / living room. Lovely big bathroom with separate shower. All newly decorated.
The hotel itself is situated a 5 minutes walk from the Council of Europe, across a park, so is ideal for business travellers like myself.
