We were charged the contracted price for the stay on the same day of arrival, in spite of the publicity contained in Venere, so we paid for the stay twice and had to claim for the devolution. This is unacceptable.

We stayed on the outskirts of Strasbourg at this hotel and found it very convenient. Only a short tram ride or a 15 min walk around the river and with free parking was great. I found the staff very helpful and nice and the rooms contained coffee and tea making facilities which are not common throughout a lot of european hotels. The price for a double room was excellent for the location although a family with young children would not find it convenient as we needed 2 rooms - one for us and one for our children.

The hotel has its own parking lot, it's located very close to the tram station (2-3 minutes walk) or one could walk to the old city centre (25 minutes). However, it is rather close to the highway too so one could fine this disturbing especially with a room at the highway-side and during summer. Although our room war rather small bed was really comfortable and equipped with soft feather duvet, pillows and feather-top mattress. Bathroom was clean, towers were changed every day and the room was vacuum-cleaned. The wireless internet was free of charge.

We hired two rooms, one I shared with my wife. We all loved the hotel. the price is great and the beds are fantasticlly comfortable. One would want to be in it forever. The surouning is ok some say it is quite niosy but not really true. It is quite and lovely. the room space is not big but it is the same in any other hotels in France I have been to. The bathroom is very clean. The hotel is located bit outside from the center of Strasbourg but is 10-15 minutes away from it if the tram is used. you have to walk 5-8 minutes from the hotel to the station of the tram, which can get you almost any part of the city.
The hotel has nice breakfast and restaurant. It also has wifi internet free of charge, though I would encourage the owners to improve its streangth in every room as it was very week on the second floor rooms. One more thing I could recommend to the host is to change the corridor lights. It is so uneasy to look for them while your hands may be busy with bags. Use movement detector instead of the mechanic switches.
Overall it is great value of money and you can be sure to get the cleaniest room. I fully recommend anyone to stay in the hotel.

My wife and I stayed in Stassburg for 3 nights. The hotel is an excellent choice for tourists and business people alike. It's located away from the busy and confusing centre of the city, near the highway. It's a 30 min walk into the historic downtown or you can take the tram from a station barely 5 minutes away. The reception desk staff are competent and friendly (and speak English) although thay are not available 24 hours. The restaurant onsite is an excellent choice for dinner. If you are a budget traveller there are several other places to eat on the way downtown, including a Lebanese donair store that sold awesome donairs for 3.50 Euros (very cheap compared to other options).
The rooms come equiped with a kettle and coffee, tea and cookies. The one thing that took some getting used to was the fact that hallways were often pitch black in order to concerve electricity. You have to hit a light switch to activate the hallway lights which are on a timer and go off automatically.

On walking distance from the centre of Strasbourg, in a quiet neigbourhood, we found this hotel excellent value for money. The rooms and bathrooms were small, but with comfortable beds and very good showers. Wireless internet in the rooms for no extra costs. A place to remember!

Accurate description in internet - near a noisy highway but not a problem, at least on the "quiet side" of building. About 20 minutes walk into center of city, but very pleasant, along the river. HOtel is in a residential area. Nice staff, good and plentiful breakfast (could use real coffee, not instant from a machine). Only dislike was the dirty carpet in room - needed cleaning. Otherwise, comfortable, clean and good price/value. I guess most visitors are budget or overnight-by-car travellers.

This hotel is a great location for a Strasbourg visit, especially if you have a car that must be parked ( here it is free). It is a delightful walk along the river into the centre of the city ( about 35 minutes to the cathedral), and the wonderful Tram service gets you back and forth inexpensively and quickly. The room has a kettle, which makes coffee and tea affordable in France!

You get what you pay for, this place is equivalent to a MOTEL 6 in the States, but add in an overpriced restaurant. Staff is indifferent and not very helpful beyond the obligatory directions (after a tour of the city trying to find the place), a city map with some suggestions and that's it. I was not impressed with Strasbourg or the residents. Very touristy, I'm sure there are better places to visit nearby. More German feel than French.

A really well located small hotel, with a friendly atmosphere and very welcoming staff.
Just 2 minutes walk to the brilliant tramway, so no need to expensive taxis.
Only had one meal in the hotel, which wasn't too bad..although the service was excellent.

Even though the rooms are quite small they were clean and more than adequate. The location is excellent as it is easy to get to off the highway but an easy walk to any attractions. We were even encouraged to leave our car in the parking lot after check out so we would not have to pay for parking downtown. Excellent value for the price.

There is a freeway about 50m from the hotel. Quite noisy if you get your room on this site of the hotel.
And with the building lot (Baustelle) on the hotel it's even noisier...
The price for the breakfast was nowhere declared (we even thougth that it was inclusive...) and 9 euros is too much compared with the room price!

It was the best hotel during my trip, I found it great and very confortable, as well as very clean. People at the hotel were great and very helpful for guiding us through the main attractions of the city. Finally, we even found it lovely to get coffee and cookies at our room. I am definitely going back to the hotel. The location was very good and it was easy to find the hotel.

I stayed in six different hotels during the week of holidays and this one was surely the best! And the cheapest one also. Free parking, five tram stops from the city center, the best choice for those traveling by car around Europe. I do recommend it.

We had some problems in finding the hotel and we had to call the reception twice to find our way to the hotel. In the future it could be useful to send a map or some instructions together with the booking confirmation.

( Bus Nr.2 Richtung Campus d'Illkirch,Haltestelle Montagne Verte).

The level of the hotel is nearer to a three star than a two one.
It is situated close to the highway but the insulation is good; probably in summer, opening the windows, the noise can create some problem.
It is possible to reach the centre of the city by walking 15 minutes along the river or in 5 minutes by tramway (stop at 3 minutes walking: very easy!

We found the hotel Montagne Verte, Strasbourg basic but good value. The staff were friendly, and the rooms clean and comfortable. The site map was very misleading as it took us into the centre of Strasbourg (the hotel is in the outskirts with a 15 minutes walk into the centre). It took us nearly 2 more hours to locate the hotel, with two children this was not pleasant. However the hotel staff were very pleasant and welcoming. We felt much better after a lovely dinner which was also of a good price.

Friendly welcoming, comprehensive breakfast buffet. Overall very good price/quality relationship. The room was a little bit small, but it did not really matter to us.
Highly recommended for anyone who is not keen on a hotel with many stars.
