The hotel is situated right next door to the Globe Arena and the Globen City Shopping Centre, near the many attractions of the city.
Stockholm is a welcoming city and small enough to cover the entire centre on foot in a couple of hours. "Globen" is a modern indoor sports and event arena, especially for ice hockey. The hotel is like a part of it. From the breakfast room, you can have a direct look into the arena. My "single" room was very nice and spacious, the staff was always kind and helpful. The hotel is very closed to a shopping area and the "tunnelbana" (subway/underground) is just a few minutes away. You just walk through a pedestrian area.

Prachtig en zeer goed hotel, voor een bezoek aan Stockholm. Ligt iets buiten het centrum, in een gebied met een groot winkelcentrum, en veel sportacomodaties. Er zijn maar enkele restaurants in het winkelcentrum. Vanuit hotel een wandeling van +/- 500 meter naar metrostation, om de 7 minuten een metro naar het centrum (oude stad)van Stockholm. Reistijd +/- 6 minuten. Hotel heeft mooie grote kamers met ruime zithoek, en prima badkamer. Goed ontbijtbuffet en ruim voorzien van allerlei broodjes, beleg, zuivel en fruit. Het restaurant op de zevende verdieping was niet geopend (alleen voor ontbijt) tijdens ons bezoek, hierdoor alleen het restaurant geopend op de begaande grond. Dit is niet zo groot, waardoor er lange wachttijden ontstaan of zelfs geen enkele plaats meer vrij is. Maar in het centrum van Stockholm volop internationale eetgelegenheden. Volgende bezoek zeker weer overnachten in Quality Hotel Globen.
