Our room had beautiful hardwood flooring and doors with a large tiled bathroom. We used the complimentary bikes to pedal to beautiful and romantic Sirmione. Only 20 minutes drive to Verona which is one of the nicest cities in Italy. The location of the Yachting Mistral Hotel is perfect for excursions elsewhere and also being in an area with shopping, restaurants, and the beauty of being lakeside.

Very good, friendly hotel. The proximity to the main road to Verona was a slight drawback but not a major concern. Also, the hotel was some distance outside Sirmione -- which was both good and bad.

We have just returned from celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. This being our second stay here. This hotel should be a higher rating than 3 star. Staff wonderful helped with everything we wanted and always smiling. Rooms clean and well furnished. Food great, I could go on just love this hotel and will return again.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Yachting Mistral. The hotel is a distance from Sirmione but they have free bikes and it's an easy 10-15 minute ride to the castle in town. The lake views along the way are beautiful. We only spent one night here but it was one of our favorite stops in Italy. We recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The hotel is similar to a U.S. motel. Fairly large rooms with big bathrooms. The problems we had were: The room was facing a construction site so noise started at 7am (It looks like it will go on for a year). The air conditioning didn't work and it was very hot. The pool was not heated, so cold you couldn't swim in it. If you wanted pool towels they charge you 3 Euros per towel. The staff wasn't overly friendly or helpfull. It is not walkable to Sermione, over one hour, you have to drive there. On the plus side, the best breakfast we had in Italy and they have bicycles to ride on a beautiful path along the lake. There are a lot of hotels that are closer to Sermione with more character.

Second time we have stayed in this hotel and we were just as delighted as the first time. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent morning, lunchtime and evening! Only drawback is distance from Sirmione centre if you have no car but a pleasant walk along the lakeside. Look forward to our next stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend it to friends. The cleanliness of the rooms was excellent and the pool area was serviced every morning. The breakfast buffet was good, but no hot items for British tastes. We tried the restaurant for dinner on one evening but found the choice of menu was not very exciting and ate out at local restaurants.
We had a lovely view of the lake from our bedroom, and enjoyed the proximity to the fabulous resort of Sirmione.

Would have preferred to stay in the center of the charming town of Sirmione, but this was a good, much less expensive alternative. The staff person there when we arrived - very late, at almost midnight - did not speak English, but was helpful and friendly. He even noticed that we had a bottle of wine in our hands and went to get us 2 extra cups for drinking the wine - very thoughtful!

The hotel was ok. It is quite a walk to get anywhwere, because it is not on the peninsula. The name of the hotel leads you to believe that you are near a marina or a beachy area, neither of which exist there.

We were looking for a qite 3 night stop over around the lake and this hotel definitely delivered. Great rooms and quiite pool area with lots of space overlooking the lake. A bit far from the busy old town but the free bikes gave us 15minutes of daily exercise.

Really nice and clean hotel. Friendly Staff. Quite a lot of passing traffic during the day so a little noisy, but very quiet at night. Convenient to Brescia airport but it certainly quite a walk (~30 mins) to the centre of Sirmione, although it is pleasant one by the edge of the lake.

A comfortable, reasonably priced hotel in a good location close to the lake and within a reasonable walking distance of the town. The staff were helpful and friendly and the facilities were well maintained. We found it to be a good base for a self drive short break.

A mid range hotel good as a base, but not somewhere to spend all day every day. Right on a main road so lots of traffic noise. Decent lakeside walk to Sirmione, which in our experience is one of the best places on the lake.

Very clean friendly hotel with excellent staff. Of a size that you get to know the staff and other guests which enhanced the stay.
Food very good and rooms excellent. Very good value for money. A little bit out from Sirmione but plenty of good local restaurants and bars close at hand. Would definitely recommend.

An excellent hotel with very good breakfast and evening meals. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Only drawback is that the hotel is about 2.5km from Sirmione itself and without a car it is quite a walk in the heat of summer. However the hotel does have bikes available for free hire and there are two buses an hour that go from near to the hotel to Sirmione centre.

This hotel is perfect for couples/families to stay, its location is ideal for attractions and access to motorway (autostrada A4)Milan - Venice. The cleanliness of the hotel throughout is immaculate, rooms are modern well fitted/equipped. Breakfast (continental as you would expect) had a large variety menu, all of the freshest ingredients. Great pool with ample sunbeds/shades. Really friendly helpful staff, assisted in arranging accommodation for the rest of our holiday. Would fully recommend your hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

The hotel and staff were brilliant. We would definitely stay there again. I would mention that the hotel is around 2.5km from the centre of Sirminone, but it is a pleasant walk alongside Lake Garda.

Although we only stayed for three nights our welcome and the service provided was excellent. I was also able to e-mail the hotel, in advance of our trip, in order to book a taxi to collect us at the airport on our arrival in Verona and also to take us back to the airport at the end of our stay. The prompt, accurate and careful attention to detail could not be faulted. The only failing was the lack of ironing and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. However, I was given the opportunity to use an iron when I needed to. The surroundings at the hotel were good especially the fact that the lake came right up to the edge of the property. It was noisy on the balcony because of the proximity of the main road. However, the sound of traffic did not encroach on the atmosphere of the hotel itself. All in all excellent.

We are extremely pleased with our stay in "Yaughting Mistral" Sirmione, Lake Guarda. The rooms were great and the view excellent. If it had a separate section for smokers we would have been even happier! (It's lounges and common/breakfast/dining room are all non-smoking).

The food generally was very good. However, we did not appreciate having to decide what we wanted for dinner at breakfast time! Also, by making the dining time a rigid 7.30, it seemed that the idea was to get you through your meal in as quick a time as possible. One evening, we were out of the restaurant within 25 minutes (which is surely not the way the Italians like it!)
It would also have been nice to have had more comfortable areas to relax in before and after meals.

We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel clean and spacious *particular the bathroom*. A plus is definitely the balcony. The breakfast was very good as well. The walk into Sirmione Center takes about 45mins. But on the positive side it helps you to digest the food.

We had a very relaxing 6 night stay in a very pleasant modern hotel. Room was excellent and the air conditioning was very welcome in the 35+ degree temperatures.
Meals were very good and the staff very friendly and efficient.
The only thing to beware was the main road running behind the hotel which caused quite a bit of traffic noise - but the hedges around the swimming pool kept this distraction minimal and the views of the lake in the other direction more than compensated.

Positives ... Hotel was nice, right on the Lake, breakfast was good - very nice place to stay ... Negatives ... Front desk staff was very unfriendly, and the hotel is NOT located "within steps" of the Sirmone Spas as they advertise on the website ... The front desk couldn't even tell us how to get there. Nice place to stay, but you will need a car if you want to go anywhere else.
