A very enjoyable stay at the Hotel Eden. Its location in Sirmione is perfect. Handy for everything... restaurants, local bus and boats on the lake.
All the staff we encountered from front desk to those making the beds was very welcoming.
The buffet breakfast was always fresh looking and therefore nice. Lovely coffee also.
Bed linen/towels changed daily. Would stay again. Lovely hotel in lovely resort.

We stayed for 1 week at the Hotel Eden & loved it - the staff were fantastic always helpful and always smiling - in particular, Roberto who became a friend & assisted us in our onward travel arrangements. The breakfast is great!I would highly recommend this hotel for its service & location.

Good hotel in excellent location.
Noise from outside as it is close to public square and also noise from Hotel airconditioner unit in grounds.
No traffic noise as centre of Sirmione is nearly traffic free with only very slow car access through pedestrians for unloading.

More 3* than 4*. Bedroom a bit smallish & dated, could do with a revamp but bathroom was good size & bright. Rest of the hotel is good. Good friendly service from the staff. Good selection cold buffet breakfast. Our room faced another hotel but many rooms overlook lake & public square (so worth asking for a room with a view). Excellent location by lake & restaurants & bars on your door step. Difficult to drive & park here. Lake boats stop next to hotel. Bus stop for Verona not far away.

Un grazie all' Hotel Eden!!

Though it lacks a pool, Hotel Eden has everything else you need for a perfect vacation on Lake Garda. Its location, right inside the castle walls, is exceptionally convenient for shopping, sightseeing, or taking ferry boats, and is an easy walk from the bus stop. (Cars have restricted access inside the area; you’ll have to make special arrangements to drive in.) Our room was clean and nicely decorated, and amazingly quiet given that it looked out over the main square. The excellent breakfast included eggs, meats, yogurt and fresh fruit – and you can eat it outside on a terrace overlooking the lake. The beaches in Sirmione are not very good – in fact there is no sand at all, and precious little shade – so you may want a hotel with a pool. But most of those are farther afield, and we would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Location. Easy to find on arrival from bus. Great to get ferries to other points on the lake as beside ferry point. Right in the centre of the old town. Nice deck to sunbathe and possible to swim in the lake from here. No pool but not really a problem. The decor was slightly tired and comparatively expensive but overall excellent. Would recommend.

Great Classy Hotel. Very cordial staff. Gorgeous views of Lake Garda, lovely patio on the lake makes for a beautiful breakfast spot and lounging while reading a book on chaise lounges. Only complaint was the "family room" for three. Avoid it if you can, as it has a small window overlooking a tiny side street and is consequently a bit dark, alleviated by extra lighting they installed.

Nice hotel, and a thank you to the helpful front desk staff. Sirmione is a lovely place which will not disappoint! Could easily imagine spending a week here. Hotel is in a great location, right in the center of town, good breakfast, although rooms are not the most updated the bathrooms are fine and bed comfortable. What they call a "water view" is sometimes stretching it a bit - so check with the desk at check-in. Definitely take a hydrofoil around the lake (loved the northern end) you will not regret it! Malcesine especially picturesque.

The hotel's location could not be better. Situated in the middle of the peninsula and right on the lake, the hotel offers spectacular views and (perhaps more importantly) a quiet oasis from the chaos of Sirmione during the height of the tourist season. The staff were also incredibly friendly and eager to please. The decoration of our room left a little to be desired (every room seems to be a monotone of a different color, aqua-marine in our case), but it was comfortable enough. We are glad we chose this slightly more expensive hotel over others in the area from what we saw. It was a perfect honeymoon spot, and one that I would recommend to anyone traveling to the lake.

This was our first time staying at the Hotel Eden and being at Lake Garda. We had the most incredible time here. We did not realize when we booked this hotel that it was located within the walls of the castle...what a great surprise! The lake was beautiful and if we had had the time we would have explored all the small towns around the lake and we would have made Hotel Eden our base. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a garage for the car, which you are charged 10 extra euros a day to use, however is greatly needed while staying within the confines of the castle. The breakfast indulged us with delicious fruits, breads and cheeses. You could sit inside the very nicely appointed dining room or you could sit outside overlooking the lake. The pictures do not do it justice. We had a room with a view of the lake, and just took a chair and some wine and watched as the sun came down and the light over the lake changed from light to dark...with dots of light from neighboring towns creating shodows of beauty and mystery. The room was a bit small yet because we had a window that opened to the view of the lake it made the room seem larger than it was. Don't miss out and go to this wonderful place when you can. There is a spa in Sirmione inside the walls of the castle. If you want a little down time you can get a massage and have a pampering time while you are there. We did not know of this spa and all was booked when we got there. Enjoy this enchanting place.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at the Hotel Eden in Sirmione. We decided not to book a regular honeymoon package and to choose the hotel ourselves. I can only say what a wonderful choice the Hotel Eden was. Located a stone's throw from the Scaligeri Castle in Sirmione, the hotel is also a 30 second (true) walk from the ferry port. Also, it's not far from the scenic walk leading around the shoreline to the Grotte di Catullo. The staff ate excellent, very knowledgeable, always friendly and always ready to help. The rooms are brilliantly comfortable and our lake viewing room had French doors so it was almost like a balcony. The breakfast at the hotel is excellent. Totally filled me up. The bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. Even though there is no restaurant on site, it doesn't matter. There are dozens and dozens of places to eat, drink and make merry. This is quite honestly the best holiday we have ever had and I would like to thank all the staff at the Hotel Eden for making it a honeymoon to remember.

This hotel was excellent. The Photos on the web site were VERY misleading as the hotel was very much better than the photos suggested. The location was fantastic and yet understated in the information. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was perfect. Sirmione is a spectacular place and the Eden has one of the best locations. Your booking service and follow-up service has also been excellent

Hotel is in an excellent position with views across the lake, next to the ferry landing and in the middle of Sirmoine tourist centre. Staff were very helpful and hotel quiet notwithstanding it's position. Decor of the hotel and room somewhat deary and really lacks facilities to be a 4 star. But price which was inclusive of a decent buffet breakfast was very good.

Our second visit to this well situated hotel, although it is a pity that they do not have a restuarant even though there are plenty within the vicinity. The night porter, same one as last year, has now improved with regards to the bar and spends less time tucked away watching television.

The Hotel Eden is in a wonderful location and is clean with competent staff who are not particularly friendly unfortunately. My wife and I had an enjoyable stay which was somewhat spoilt, when upon our departure, we were pursued across Sirmione Square by a member of the reception staff asking us to pay our bill. I had paid it the night before !!

We had a very enjoyable stay at his hotel. The staff could not have done more for us - they were first class. The rooms were of a reasonable good size and breakfast was as good as any of the hotels we stayed in. Lunch on the decking was so good we didn't try anywhere else at lunchtime - we just needed to move from the sunlounger to the table! Perhaps the only thing we missed was a swimming pool but residents were able to use the pool at a sister hotel - we just thought the outlook from the decking was so delightlful that we didn't want to move! The location was superb - arrive by boat and within a few steps you are at the hotel, with numerous restaurents nearby for the evening. We would definately recommend this hotel

I'm a single traveller, but the single room allocated was spacious, great bathroom and with a view of the lake and promenade. Good facilities in that you can sunbathe on the terrace and there were always loungers available. Also a nice patio area to eat. Lunch served to you while on terrace. Would thoroughly recommend.

We loved Sirmione and this was our favorite hotel and location. The hotel is inside the castle walls, the streets are extremely narrow and crowded. We dropped off the luggage and then parked in the area provided by the hotel, which is about a 10 minute walk outside the castle walls. We travelled with four teenagers and the location allowed them to wander around on their own. There were lots a tourists there during the day, but by evening the numbers decreased. There are many good restaurants nearby. The hotel provides an excellent breakfast -- far beyond the norm. There is a large breakfast room, but we ate on the outside terrace. Both rooms overlooked the lake. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Internet access is ONLY with a computer in the lobby area, but can be used without charge.

Accept that staying in Italy is expensive and you're half way there. Sirmione remains a pleasant but very busy place to stay. The Hotel location is close to the Old Fort but don't bother trying to bring a car into the old town. Rooms were pleasant with lovely views of the Lake. Decor could do with an update and when will Italien hostaelries offer hot drink making facilities in bedrooms?!. Staff were really good, pleasant, pleasant, polite and helpful, and yes we would stay there again.
