We were a bit disappointed with the hotel mainly because of the location. From our bedroom we could see and hear the very busy main road - it just wasn't as tranquil as we were expecting. The welcome was quite average. The owner had no English (which is fine) but it just lacked atmosphere and felt a bit old and dull inside. Room huge but furniture a bit tired looking although the actual building was fantastic. Breakfast average. We were there late May so it possibly livens up later in summer. Next time we would definitely stay in central Siricusa instead!
I certainly wouldnt base a full holiday around this hotel!

After having a difficult time finding the property which was located several miles out of the Syricusa town, we thoroughly enjoyed the rest of our stay. Beautifully maintained villa with lovely grounds and pool. Dinner was prepared by their chef who was imaginative and talented. As long as people realize the distance from the town, I would wholeheartedly recommend this property.

Lady Luysa was the best experience we had on a 2 week car tour of Sicily. The owners made our visit exceptional. They took time to recommend places to visit that you'd never learn about in tourist travel guides. They were also very helpful with our arrangements and directions to the ferry in Cantania. The food was outstanding. It was a delightful oasis to return to each day after touring the Syracusa area.I'd go back often if I could and would reccomend it to anyone traveling by car in Sicily

I had the most romantic time with my husband at Lady Lusya. The hotel was gorgeous and the staff was more then helpful and sincere. It used to be an old winery and you can still see where they made the wine in the dinning area. You have to drive down this small dirt road through an orange and lemon field, which I thought was beautiful. Our room had a balcony and it gave a great view of the orange fields. The dinner was extremely good and it was presented very nicely. I would recommend this place to everyone!

We stayed two nights in Lady Lusya. This is an amazing hotel with a flair of an old mansion and is beautifully situated in the middle of lemon groves. Still the rooms have all modern facilities and are spacious. Service is very attentive, too. We had dinner in the hotel and enjoyed it very much.
The only minor flaw of the hotel is that there is nothing around it but gardens. Syracuse is about 20km away and you can reach the hotel only by car. This minor can be a big plus if you are looking for a very quiet holiday to relax. I definetely recommend this hotel and would stay there again next time we travel to Sicily.

There was only a misunderstanding on how to get to Lady Lusya. It said on the address (Fontana Biancha). So as soon as we saw the board for it, we left the road. But unfortunately, the hotel is not at all there and we had to eventually go to the Carabinieri to ask them where it actually was. And it was a good 15 MINUTES AWAY. So the address has definetely to be changed.

The Lady Lucya was a pretty property with a courteous and knowledgable staff. The rooms were spotless and the pool area was quiet and relaxing and the food was some of the best we had on our trip. I was disappointed with the quality of the beds which were hard and uncomfortable also the hotel did not offer bell service and we had to bring our own luggage up and down a flight of stairs. The directions to the hotel were not accurate and certainly not detailed enough to get us there without asking directions along the way. Overall, for the price and the ambiance I would recomend it for a short stay.

An amazing place situated among a lemon grove. off the beaten track but within easy distance to places lots of places. The hotel has been renovated to an incredible standard and Lady Lusya is a lovely place to stay; the food is good and the atmosphere really relaxing. As with most of Venere accommodation - you need to get a more detailed map before you set off! Wouldn't let this put me off though as Venere hotels we have stayed in so far have been excellent.

About 10 miles away from the city, Lady Lusya is a perfect location to both visit the wonderful city of Siracusa and spend some time on the near sand beaches.
The hotel is a sort of oasis in this highly touristic area, perfectly located in the middle of lemon, orange and olive trees and has a large swimming pool (I mean a real one !).
Owners and Staff are nice and helpful.
Make sure you get a precise itenerary from the hotel as it took us some time to find it.

This is the best hotel we stayed in in Sicily and I would go back to Sicily just to stay there again.
The staff were friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much to ask of them. They spoke very good English and were patient and kind.
The room was perfect as was the bathroom and the surroundings (it is surrounded by lemon groves out in the country).
Only two negatives - the hotel is shown as being north of Siracusa on the map on the website, but it is in fact south-west. This caused some considerable trouble when we were trying to find it but we rang for directions and the hotel offered to send someone out to find us!
The second (an I want to emphasise that this is only minor in real terms) was that our evening meal took nearly an hour to arrive which was a pity because we were only there for one night and really wanted to enjoy our surroundings!
On departure the hotelier told us he hoped we would return - I very much hope we do and have no doubt that we will organise our trip so that we can stay at tha Lady Lusya again!

Exceptionnal hotel among lemon trees which offers beauty, quietness and kindness from employees.
Large room for family with nice furniture, splendid lunch room and cooking very typical and so good. Try it one night, magnificent!
And last but not least, the swimming pool very attractive when sun comes.
For all, good ratio price/services.
