Hotel moderno, funzionale, pulito e molto comodo come posizione visto che si trova vicinissimo a porta san marco e non hai il problema del parcheggio che a Siena è molto sentito. Ottimo il personale e la qualità di tutta la struttura. Sicuramente da consigliare.

Although the hotel is a bit far away from the center (you need a car or public transportation), it is a really good starting point to visit Siena and Chianti region. Nice breakfast and really nice barmaid who was particularly helpfull and friendly! I'll go back there for a futur visit of Siena and around.

A clean, new hotel in good out-of-town location. Excellent bus service to town centre. Nice staff. But air conditioning in our room failed and management could not fix it or apparently offer another room. State-of-art computer system showed our room at 29 C. and all other rooms at much lower temperatures. Despite discussions with helpful front desk staff the system could not be fixed (apparently it needed an IT expert, not an engineer!). No alternative room was offered, though hotel did not seem very busy. We had to sleep with open windows next to a noisy road at great discomfort. The booking contract offered a/c so this amounted to breach of contract. No offer of partial refund was made, despite a complaint to the hotel through their feedback form on departure. Everyone was very polite but this was not really much help. I could not recommend the hotel to other guests. A pity, because it has potential and the front desk staff obviously try their best.

Very helpful staff, also very friendly. Attractive and clean new building.
Very good access to downtown via shuttle bus and good access to highway (a bit confusing due to the traffic circle and construction).

The staff was extremely friendly. The hotel was hard to find, although it is right on the corner, but no visible signs. We passed it three times. The staff knows that: when we commented they agreed, that it is hard to find. But overall, the renovation they did is excellent, very much in contemporary style. The breakfast was good. And, again, the satff was very helpful and easy-going. We enjoyed our stahy there.

A good value, modern, friendly hotel with a practical, if unappealing, situation on the main roads just outside the city walls.
It is a twenty minute walk uphill into the centre of Siena. There is a regular bus during the day.

Very nice hotel, great staff, good breakfast, lovely rooms. The only problem was directions and location, as the address is not found on ViaMichelin or on the other mapping websites.

San Marco hotel is one of my best memory in Siena.
In terms of facilities, it's really clean and modern, newly developed so you may enjoy higher quality of facilities comparing to price. And also breakfast was really nice. But most impressive thing is clerk in the reception. we asked her to introduce 'local favor nice' restaurant, and she introduced literally # 1 restaurant in Italy.

more convenient transportation, time,
even we didn't have that much information
about Siena, but because of her kindess and
instruction, we didn't have any difficulties.
Really nice hotel, but most of all, you can
feel welcoming, hospitality and real 'local'.

Neues, sehr modernes Hotel mit Parkplatz. Liegt direkt an einer grossen Kreuzung. Das Zimmer war aber ruhig. Gutes Frühstück. Um in die Altstadt von Siena zu gelangen ist man auf das Auto angewiesen.
