Hotel Los Seises - Seville

We were very disappointed and surprised at the shabbiness of this 4 star hotel. Our bathroom smelled of sewage. We had to plug all the drains and it still smelled. The pool on the roof was deserted. The breakfast was 34 euros for 2 (outrageously expensive and not worth it). Our room had single beds and when we asked if we could have a double bed, they showed us a room with no windows so we stayed with our choice. The rooms and hallway are noisy because the floors are tile and there are no rugs. We were very unhappy with this hotel and cannot recommend it for anyone.

I ordered a double room but got a twin bed room. Room very very noisy. Swimming pool and terrace very very dirty. Poor breakfast quality and service.

We stayed fro 3 nights in August, and were not very impressed. We were charged €30 for one breakfast for two people, which was a total rip off. Considering there was no coffee, milk or orange juice, no bread for toasting and food selection was very poor overall. We had to ask the staff for milk & coffee and they were not very pleased about this. We were also unaware how much breakfast would cost until we received our bill at checkout. When we asked reception how much a Taxi would cost to the Airport they quoted a figure of €18 this wasn’t true as this didn’t include the €5 fee the Hotel Charges for arranging the Taxi. When we got to the Airport the Taxi driver charged us €26 and explained this was a Hotel Charge. The bar was also un-staffed when we were there, and there was no restaurant in operation

This is a very drab hotel. It isn't at all 4 star standard. The reception looked like it was in a cheap pension and the rooms were very noisy. The bar area was closed all the time i was there. There was no internet availibility. Staff were unfriendly and recommended a very bad, expensive restaurant near the hotel

Los Seises is in a prime location for Seville but tucked away in a quiet street. The pool is smaller than the photos suggest but in summer it's a great way to cool down after visiting the Alcazar (3 mins away). The bedrooms were spacious and beautifully decorated with wooden roof beams and shutters. The reception, bar and restaurant married the old building walls and facades with glass creating light, airy spaces. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A really nice hotel in a fabulous location - sadly let down by disinterested staff who did nothing to make the stay memorable, and at times were simnply rude. A great rooftop swimming pool, with views of the Giralda - but the water was sometimes cloudy, and the bar never once open. My hire car was valet parked in the 'garage'- but returned to us filthy (it had clearly been outside), and, we realised as we left Seville, with about 80km extra on the clock. Very dodgy. A shame, it has the potential to be a great hotel - if they can get to grips with the management and staff attitude.
