There was no lift in the building, which would make it hard to climb the steps only if you have heavy bags. Also, it was hot in Milan, and the air conditioning was spotty in our room (but fine in the hall!) Also, the map provided (and the written directions if you call and ask) aren't really that good, either. You cannot actually drive on the street in front of the hotel on the map, and getting into the property (and then parking in the nearby garage if you drive) is a bit taxing. If you drive, you will have to pay for parking, and that wasn't that clear on making the reservation. The location is great for getting into and out of the city on the red line. The SG Rondo subway station is no more than 3 blocks away. You can take this to the duomo and the other sites around the center of town.
