I went for a long weekend with my girlfriend at the end of Feburary. Fantastic rate and well positioned within the Area Central shopping centre. I would recommend this place for couples who like a bit of luxury. The bathroom was lovely with a spa bath. The number 11 bus went to town very frequently from just outside the entrance and it was very cheap indeed. The walk to town was about 20 minutes. The large supermarket just under the hotel was brilliant for wine and local foods. I thoroughly recommend the hotel for its cleanliness, friendliness and value for money. Only downside was the view from the hotel room... However I would definitely return there if i was back in Santiago de Compostela

An excellent hotel for the price and location.
Not a tourist hotel specifcally but never the less perfect for somewhere to stay in Santiago with excellent staff and easy access to almost anywhere.
We have stayed there three times now and found the level of service to be of the same high standard each time.

The hotel is descibed as being a few metres from the old town and train station and it is not. It is also wrongly located on the map shown. The actual location of the hotel isn't even on the map. It is about a mile from the old town up a slight incline but as I was with my mother we had to take several taxi journeys. Had I been on my own I would have walked.
The rooms were very warm but as our room windows opened out into the shopping centre there was very little cool or fresh air. I would be very wary about visiting this hotel in summer!
