This hotel was great. Clean, spacious, and friendly staff. I'd definitely stay there again. The only thing I could mention was the restaurant. Dinner was so so, nothing to write home about. And, the complimentary breakfast had a LOT of sweets on it. (as compared to savory food choices), but my six year old loved that. Overall, no real complaints.

My husband and I are rating this hotel on the low side for a few reasons:
1. Our room was hot and noisy. It was on the south, and busy road side, also there is a very noisy car wash across the street which starts early and goes nonstop until late in the evening.
2. The services listed such as pool and exercise area are not actually at the hotel, but apparently at a fitness center a ways away.
3.The location wasn't nearly close enough for our needs to Assisi. Not a fault really of the hotel, but if you are wanting to explore Assisi you will be better served by a hotel in the city of Assisi.
The breakfasts were great and the staff spoke some english which was helpful.
This hotel is best for groups and business travellers.

This hotel is on the very edge of St Maria degli Angeli, and you will need transport to get to the centre of that town, never mind the even greater distance from Assisi itself.
The hotel badly needs to be painted inside and out,with many marks on the bedroom walls.
The furnishings are quaint, but the bar/restaurant is not very inviting.
The breakfast was only fair.
Reception was rather abrupt and could have been a little friendlier.

The room had a terrible tobacco smoke smell and this should be eliminated between visitors or smoking banned.
The service was adaquate but impersonal.
The breakfast was less than adaquate, more like very bad.
Tha bathroom was very spacious but the shower recess was incredubly small
