In 2002, the hotel underwent an extensive renovation. The renovation ensured that the building's European elegance and comfort were retained whilst introducing new colour schemes that complement the authentic Louis XVI antique armoires, four-poster and crown-canopied beds and hand-carved headboards.

All rooms include private Italian marble baths, honour bar refrigerators, premium cable TV with pay-per-view channels, on-demand movies and Nintendo, voicemail, guest safes, hairdryers, monogrammed robes and umbrellas.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By airplane
From the San Francisco International airport, take Highway 101 North and exit at 4th Street. Stay to the left and continue to 3rd Street. Cross Market Street and make a left turn onto Geary Street and proceed west on Geary Street for five blocks. The Warwick San Francisco Hotel is located on the right-hand corner of Taylor and Geary. The hotel is located 13 miles from the airport.
From the Oakland airport, take I-80 West across the Bay Bridge. Take the first exit after the bridge, which is called Fremont. Follow Fremont across Market Sreet and turn left onto Pine Street. Follow Pine eight blocks to Mason Street and make a left turn on Mason. Continue on Mason for five blocks to Geary Street. Make a right onto Geary; the hotel is at the end of the block on the right-hand side on the corner of Taylor and Geary. The hotel is located 15 miles from the airport.
