We were satisfied in general with the quality of the hotel and iits facilities but not with the man in charge of it. The night we arrived there he denied us entrance arguing there were no reservations from us (what was not true as you can check). After showing him our printed Venere reservation he changed his mind but pressed on us to get paid in cash or in travellers checks what is very unusual and illegal, I guess. The next morning he showed the same behaviour about getting paid with cash.
Also the telephone in our room didn’t work and three days went by until it was fixed. Not a very kind and helpful man.
So, good orchestra but a bad conductor

Venere.com and Days Inn Lombard had miscommunication and booked me a room that was not available. I was told by the hotel that sixteen other people who booked this hotel through venere.com had the same problem. Fortunately, I lived only an hour away.

Although the room was very clean and equipped with a fridg, microwave and coffee machine, it remains that the reception welcome was deficiente, the breakfast offered was not available at the hours shown and the quality was not acceptable...we did go outside to have breakfast! One thing must be said, the bed was very confortable and the location close to the touristic area. If one goes there from the airport better take the BART to the Civic center then a taxi. Also be careful with local calls the are charged by the minute!!!
